Behaviour at Munches

Right, Im going on my first munch (look out Wigan!!! lol

) on 1st Dec, and need to know the correct behaviour.
(Cherrytree if you DARE put a link to an old thread i will look for the oldest, dodderiest, most toothless slobbery bald guy and tell him u want a kiss under the mistletoe :lol: :lol:
thats reminds me...Mr B is late in tonight :lol: :lol: :lol: :laughabove: :laughabove:
anyways....imagine I was a complete idiot....whaddaya mean not such a stretch of the imagination!!!!
and tell me in words of one syllable or less, whats allowed and whats a no-no.....I dont wanna end up the subject of a thread on here for committing a gross faux pas...nor end up on the front page of the Wigan Gazette for inapproprate relations with the statue of the towns founder!!!
anyways enough of my secret fantasies redface

cameras allowed?
kissing allowed?
snogging with tongues allowed?
copping a feel (outside clothes) allowed?
flashing of bra and /or tits?
can I bring mistletoe and tinsel?
basically just need to know whats allowed and what isnt...had a look at a very long thread which went round in circles about peoples perceptions of what was too much, and got a bit confuzzled.
Not that I am gonna do any of this, I will be the one glued to the wall like the shy retiring wall flower that I am....a bit like, a rabbit startled in the head lights....so look out of me and throw me a kindly word, and a smile ( :lol: ) oh and PLEASE come and take MR B off my hands for a dance....pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeee!!
anyway thanks for your help...and i think it will be good to let newbies and munch virgins to know exactly in plain english whats acceptable and whats not.

cameras allowed? Up to the organisers and it would be better if the person whose pics you are taking knows you are taking their pic and are ok with it
kissing allowed? yep within reason but not anything that will bring the party in to disrepute
snogging with tongues allowed? see above
copping a feel (outside clothes) allowed? wouldn't advise this as it could lead to other things
flashing of bra and /or tits?nope
can I bring mistletoe and tinsel? yep don't see why not, but again check with organiser of munch
People who have attended munches before should keep the "virgins" on the straight and narrow folks

Seriously, it's just like an evening wedding party, all you have to do is turn up, collect your name badge from the desk as you walk in, get yourself a drink, find a seat with some friendly folk (which is everybody) or walk about and mingle, say hi to all and sundry, join in or laugh at the dancing, lol

and that's about it.
There's no playing, you might see a lot of affectionate hugging or kissing, but that's what friends do when they meet at weddings! :lol:

Basically munch behaviour should be pretty much the same as the behaviour you would expect in a pub..
Camera's....
I would say No personally as not everyone there will be comfortable with pictures being taken..
General behaviour should not be overtly sexual really..
A few kisses here and there is just fine and dandy but flashing of tits and groping are really not the done thing..
Hopefully an experienced organiser will be along to give a more detailed explanation...
The main criteria is to Enjoy Yourself :thumbup:

Agree with that, pretty much. Whoever is organising a munch will usually include details about dress, behaviour and such, in the invitation you'll receive.

I would say "No" to camera's personally cause it's a bit of a sticky area like what if you get someone in the background who didn't want to be on film...but again the Organiser should say yay or nay to this.
Yep, Snogging is allowed but nothing too amorous that will get you noticed....like don't try lying someone across a table and snogging them wink

Dress Code is usually pretty much what you want but something that you would normally be able to wear on a night out in the town...so no nipples bared or anything like that.
But really it's just a night to chill out with friends that you have seen write stuff on here but that you have never met...
DOn't worry, you'll have a blast!!!
