Your advice please my friends (but I think I know the answer already but I can get overexcited and be really thick at times)
I got an e-mail tonight "WANTED:
Male & female talent to join our friendly team, and perform in a new range of adult video productions. " Looked at the website and was quite stunned to see a set of tick boxes for what you would do ie I can tick watersports and oral with women and wouldn't need to have sex smile but 1. do I really want to go there in case it all goes tits up and
2. Should I be alarmed at the following paragraph "Do I have to do sex bareback, or will condoms be used?
Unfortunately people just don´t want to see condoms; all sex in our scenes will not use condoms. BUT, all of the talent that we bring along will have been tested for HIV for your protection. Likewise, we will require you to be tested on the day. It´s easy, fast and virtually painless (just a small prick, oops, no pun intended). All we require is a couple of drops of blood and seconds later we have the results. You can still have the opportunaty to perform without doing penetrative sex, although the possibilities are greatly reduced.

Sorry, but a full STD test isn't a quick prick and the resluts a few minutes later.
Thats bollocks.
They don't just stick needles in you, the test goes in far more intimate places.
Therefore, forget it, it's a wind up or too dangerous healthwise to contemplate.

UK industry i wouldn't trust but if it's a major player in Cali they are shit hot on the frequency & quality of testing due to losing millions a few years ago when someone 'slipped through the net' and they had to shut down for a month or two

Well if you want to do it Harry do it simple as that.
OK so you don't do penetrative sex so that shouldn't be a problem for you, but on the subject of porn flicks, there are a good few around that show safe sex i.e. condoms, but there even more around that don't.
The testing thing is not new and has been used in the industry for years, but because the HIV virus in particular has a gestation period of 3-6 weeks it is possible that a test can come back negative because the antibodies aren't showing up, and yes there has been cases of porn actors contracting the disease.
So do the BJ's and the WS if you want to mate but save the full stuff for the right lady wink

You also don't get the results there and then (at least not reliable ones - there's one test on the market for HIV that produces results in 20 minutes, but it won't pick up all infectious cases).
It's definitely not kosher Harry - either it's simply a scam or they're really making videos and potentially putting their 'actors' in serious danger (not to mention lying to them).
Phoenix is also right in mentioning that there's a lot of other diseases out there that they make no mention of testing for - Heptatitis B or C would be the two I'd be most concerned about, but none of them are very pleasant.

Cheekychimp, you probably haven't been around long enough but "bollocks" or to coin it's proper useage "bollox" is a term TM's by our own NeilinLeeds ... as in he spouts a load of bollox, this post is bollox etc.

If it was just watersports and no penetrative sex they wouldn't need to test you would they? Unless they routinely test everyone.
To answer your question, how about making your own private movie? That way, you get to do the watersports and don't have to have penetrative sex.....and you get to sell copies on ebay to make money lol

I worked with a guy who admitted that in his youth he'd been paid £500 to appear in a porn film by a 'mate'. He said they'd let him use a condom when he refused to do it without (incidentally, they were a very low-budget operation, not really more than amateurs), but he had terrible trouble getting wood, though I'm not sure how much experience he'd had with shagging in front of an audience (it wouldn't surprise me if he had done so though - this guy would quite happily answer his work mobile whilst taking a dump confused ).
In the end I think him and his mate decided that perhaps he wasn't quite the stud they were looking for, and he never did any more, but he mentioned that when he first went to Amsterdam a few months later he was wandering around the red light district somewhat worried he'd see himself with a cheesy grin on the cover of one of the DVDs.

I currently have two problems to this. 1. A lack of a female co-star 2. No camcorder, only my webcam, which has to be within four metres of my pc (although I noted that superdrug are doing one for £50 these days.)
