have you ever looked at a profile and noticed something that turns you off in the background of a photo?
I'm not into tattoos, or piercings, but each to their own. Yet occasionally there's perhaps a full ashtray at the side of the bed, or a kitchen sink full of washing up. Little signs that the guy (or girl) might not take that much care in other areas.
Yes, maybe picky. I know it's not just me that does it. But what have you noticed?

omg i was just thinking exactly the same thing.
when i view pics i ALWAYS look in the background.
i hate the ones where the guys pants are still around his ankles, or they still have the elastic mark of their pants lol or his bedroom is a complete shit pit.
oh always look to see if the nails are clean.
i then look for signs he lives with his mrs when they say single.
i look to see what ther decor is like.
im just bloody nosey.
a few pics have really put me off cuse the place looks really dirty. i dont mean not posh, but minging lol

It always amazes me that someone posts a photo that shows the cat litter tray or the piles of washing up or the clothes on an airer in the bedroom, or an unmade bed or a toilet with the lid up or....... a million other things ........but I guess I MUST just be picky :giggle:

I'm so picky about everything else I think I would never meet anyone if I paid too much attention to detail. Yes if it is in your face not nice I will be put off by it, but a little disarray or untidyness does not bother me.
As for dishes needing washing!!! :shock:
I have a dish washer and kind of pile it all on the side until I have time to put it all in. I guess that makes me a Manky Mandy? redface

Does come up clean though lol.
Ok I have a habit of piling clothes on the chair in my bedroom too until I could be bothered to either put it away or put it in the wash basket.

This is me too! If you look at my pics, I have clothes that have been ironed waiting to be hung up in the kids rooms in the background lol

I like to think this shows Im housewifey :lol: I know Im not actually dirty, its surface mess thats easily put away...I tend to have pics taken spur of the moment...kinda ruins it if I say "hold on, lets clean my room before you flash that cam in this direction..." :lol:

But yes... I looked at one last night and she had a clothes horse that was full of washing next to her. rolleyes

Top tips... take your socks off if you're taking a photo of your cock from above/in the mirror. Also take off your undies... we don't want to see them at your knees.
And remove all the crap that's lying about in the background because the chances are I'm gonna look at the dirty plates and the HP sauce bottle on the floor behind you before I look at your tits/cock! :mrgreen:
Oh... and if you need to then have a trim/shave cause an overgrown bush on girls or boys (for me) isn't all that appealing! :lol:
If people put a bit more thought into their photos I'm sure they'd have far more luck. wink

Sounds like we could really do with a sticky giving a few pointers to making a really good impression with your pics.
Personally I love naked back views so tasteful pics taken like that go down well - especially black and white. I don't even need to see faces - but cock/pussy shots? Sorry - seen one seen 'em all.
Mess in the background is very off-putting, but if it tells the truth then that is probably just a good indicator. I know I am picky on this, but if I was going to someone's house for a lovely session of mutual pleasure I would be put off by having to tip-toe round piles of dirty washing or seeing a sink with 3 days washing up in it. Don't get me wrong - I'm not looking for Buckingham Palace.

I guess I am picky about different things...
I don't as a rule meet people at their houses, so I'm not as bothered if it looks like they have something slightly out of place or whatever. (Who knows where the pic was taken anyway... might not even be their mess? dunno

)
But (and I know some people will judge me for it, but hey! rolleyes

) I am guilty of being picky about well written profiles, messages or whatever.

i hated the old pictures we used to have on when i had a horrid cream carpet and a long haired black dog that moults constantly no amount of hoovering will ever stop it, the dark laminate hides the dog hair better so not as visible in pics (i hope)
Very rare i look at pics though and if i do i dont really notice the background its the person im interested in, not the house and how clean/tidy it is people have lives and other things to be doing. I was brought up in a perfect show house, nothing was ever out of place there was never a dirty cup or spoon in the sink some people like that but not ideal in a home with 3 kids and a step dad who did a dirty manual job and to be honest i hated it, it wasnt a home it was a house made to look pretty for everyone elses benefit except those who lived in it evil

Most of our pics are took in the front room taken spur of the moment so as we smoke and more than likely had a drink there will always be the odd ashtray/glass hanging about dunno

Well...
I nearly always have at least one dish in the sink.. there's always something on the airer in the bathroom, usually always a finger print on the telly from the kids and my ironing piles is so big it should qualify for mountain status!
But never mind ey, I'm a full time working single mum of 2. My ex was a complete nob and used to get REALLY nasty if there was even a spec of dust anywhere.. so I suppose when I left him I went into the reverse lol
One thing I will say is that if I ever had anyone here, I would almost certainly clean up :happy:

oh dear , im not saying that my house is always spotless, what i find amusing is whats in the background of some peoples pics.
like how guys who take the pics while sat on the toilet confused

may be im being picky with the guys pics, i know it might be wrong, but when there are soooo many guys out there youd think they wanted the best chance.
but some background sceens are ewgh.
i think ive met far to many guys who forget a shower before a meet is expected. well in my book its expected, dont show much respect to turn up stinky.
im not making a whole bunch of sense here.
my house is sometimes a mess, i work full time, and single mum with no family to help, but untdiy isnt dirty, but you can honestly see dirty in some pics.
and i certianly wouldnt invite people around till id tidyed up.

Anyone who knows me at all, knows full well that I'm a messy git! At the moment my flat looks like a reject from Snow & Rock's store room as I'm off to camp this week. My best mate is on her way over and she's the only person I would allow to see my flat in the state it's in. redface

What I meant in my earlier post is that if you're going to make the effort to take some sexy photos for people to look at and you make sure that you look your best before taking them, you should also make sure the background for your pics looks its best too! :mrgreen:
It wasn't a slur on people who don't have time to clean up... I'm a lazy git and hate housework... I don't have any excuse because I live on my own and have no-one else to blame! surprised

We had a similar discussion the other day but ours was about family photos LOL.
We have some stunning pics of our kids but the backgrounds are truly strange mad

:x (not dirt, just stuff piled up or the ironing pile, or mop bucket etc)
I wouldn't say my house is unclean but busy, 3 kids, dog, us etc so that's why we don't arrange meets at our house.
Would hate to think someone based whether to meet on a pic though, without other factors!

It may have spoilt the moment if someone had all of a sudden thought 'oooh, I may one day upload these onto a swingers site, so best make the place look decent'... Yes, maybe there are people who take pics particularly for their profile but I would hazard a guess at an awful lot of pics having been taken without a thought to them being viewed by anyone other than the people in them.

You know something... I'm not bothered about the surroundings of someone's photos. The people taking the pics are probably having the most horny time and it could be spur of the moment, that to me is erotic.
If you 'stage' you're surroundings the photo's are probably pre-meditated and won't be the same imo.
I tend to look at pictures to see the owners not their decor. What I don't think is right is pictures of kids/families therefore they should be blanked out in editing.
We're here for horny sex not DIY SOS! lol
