Best ever christmas presant.
I've had so many fab gifts over the years and some of them hold special memories for me for different reasons though if I had to choose my most cherished it would be a framed photo of my Dad taken during his last summer with us, he died 2 months before that Christmas.
Some of the others I hold very dear are a jigsaw puzzle once when I was 9 and when it was done, my Dad had it placed into a table which I still have.
An REM tape ( which was their latest at the time and way before cds ) and inside it was a ticket for their tour the following July
The first box of chocolates my youngest son bought me with his own money and a card he'd made himself.
I'm looking forward to this year when my eldest son is home from Sweden for the first time in over a year and my youngest will be here too and that's the best gift I could wish to have this year

It was a couple of years ago when my mum bought me a swish new bird feeder and bird book. It wasn't an expensive gift but it's the best one I've had.
Mainly because I was shocked that she had A) Remembered that I loved birds and B) Was actually listening to me when I talked about my array of bird feeders and how much I loved them.
