Okay - this is kind of a thread reaching out from another thread.
I mentioned the rainbow being the gay "colours" and I mentioned the fact that no-one in the UK seems to know about the other colours.
These mainly come from America - but why not adopt them here?
So here goes for two that may be appropriate for SH members:-
Bisexual: Bisexuality is shown by the use of three colurs together.
Blue (str8), blendig with Pink (gay) to produce purple. So therefore a "rainbow" of blue, purple, pink.
BDSM: You share this with the gay leather boys - black, blue, white - with a red heart. I redently gave three "leather" bears to a group of people exhibiting at Erotica this year - so if you see their bears (like TY bears) - you know what they mean biggrin
I shall not have a thread die before I go to bed!!!
Night all. Time for me to crash. Hopefully I shall not be awoken at by a certain cat who has taken to sleeping on my head! (pussy I can take - furry cat I cannot!!!!).
Enjoy your weekends whatever you're up to wink
Night xxxxxxxx
Reese (wot is an American) says Gay colours are Rainbow.
My fave colour is purple, so wey hey!! Bi is purple!
Yip - American reese is right - gay is rainbow.

Ah, magnolia, dontcha love it? rolleyes
The bathroom suite is non-white. Estate agents cannot say avocado any longer, as some twat may find that misleading and sue. So it's a "coloured bathroom". I kid you not, it's true.
Purple also represents sexual frustration. Hence it's use as an accent colour in my bedroom.

My estate agents even cateloged the plastic cutlery tray in the inventory before renting...
... They also deliberately didn't test the smoke alarm, because to do so would mean them accepting liability for its safe opperation... as it happens it didn't work, which makes them shitty people for not caring enough about my well being..! (if they knew it was broke they would have to get the landlord to replace it... but tenancy's require smoke detectors, however its enough for them to check for its presence not opperation)

In a rental, everything has to be on an inventory. Things like the smoke alarm will be catalogued, then listed as *not tested*. It's not that they don't give a damn, it's just that people do sue. Estate agents are bound by so many laws. The Property Misdescriptions Act states that everything an Estate Agent Says, depicts, writes or shows must not be misleading. That counts for verbal and written details. If you rely on the fact there is a smoke alarm simply from it being mentioned in an Estate Agents brochure, and do not test it yourself, is it really the Agents fault if the battery has run out?
