damn it looks like i am to...... As jokes don't really have anywhere to go (that is they are a statement rather than a topic for discussion) they are locked - people still have the opportunity to read them though.
A lot of topics are locked because they are repetitive. This isn't so bad when a topic for discussion hasn't been raised for a long time, but when there are 4 or 5 threads on page 1 asking "why the chatroom isn't working" and there's a sticky at the top saying "Chatroom Q & A Here" it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out why it was locked :doh:
