Isn't it always the case that a close friends birthday is fast approaching and you try to find something to get them, but always come up with the answer.."They've got one of those already!"
Please share your ideas.
One I've used a couple of times is Vintage Wines, but at those prices they're not for making "Cheeky Vimto's" out of rolleyes
Simple - nothing! :giggle:
It's my mum's birthday on Monday... she has everything and I generally struggle with what to buy her. I've just bought her some funky new chairs for the garden, they're very cool and she'll be able to fold em up and take em on holiday too.

Not exactly pervy but my mum will like them! lol
Those chairs are very very nice.
May I suggest a ukulele.
Cheap fun to learn and something every home should have. You can get some very nice funky ones too. Who could resent a flying V ukulele.
Those chairs are pretty damn cool Dirtygirly, might have to add them to the short list biggrin
Mike and I dont do prezzies anymore to each other.
We ran out of ideas, and started buying anything, just for the sake of it.
We put the money towards a holiday instead now.
My birthday next week, he wants us to have a meet for it ! Says it will be his prezzie to me!! wink
Lucys post.

Something like that innocent
My favourite Aunty is like that, not only does she claim to have everything she wants, but she sensibly actually tells you when the gift you have bought her is a waste of money.
However she is widowed and does not know one end of a hammer from the other, so last year I gave her an IOU for a days work fixing repairing or otherwise mending stuff round her house (ended up taking two days LOL) she said it was the best gift she had ever had!
So perhaps that, or if your talents lie in other directions some other service that you can offer them that they might otherwise have to pay over the odds for (try and keep it clean folks)may be appreciated.
Just a thought

What a lovely thing to do! kiss
I like homemade pressies too. It's always nice when some thought has gone into a gift and it's made especially for you.

the greatest gift that you can give anyone is also the simplest - but sometimes the hardest to part with
it is
your time
there is no better gift
there is no gift more appreciated by young and old alike
how about a day of pampering at a health spa
hope that helps biggrin
