I wouldn't have thought that go getter black women would need to have things arranged for them. they do okay as they are. but a considerate idea.
Why don't you ask as many black women you know in/on SH to at least give their opinion?
I still would love to know if you were serious about this or whether you were trying to start a debate on the differences, if any, between lots of black guys on site with an availability to white women and the seemingly lack of available black women on site for white men?
because there are lots of black guys on site and far less black ladies thats the difference- now be honest about your posting and don't try leading me into grey areas of debate.
if its beginning to look like an actual event it probably just needs to be placed in the lets meet up forum.
as for throwing it open to debate well.........

I am black – ( in fact dual heritage. Mum is Brazilian – black - and dad is English - white) my guy is Danish and white. Personally I feel there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you have suggested and well done you for raising your head above the parapet and making the suggestion.
I don’t know how many black women use SH but regardless of this, the suggestion is perfectly viable. Although I’m here for the social side only and absolutely nothing else, I do feel that if there are enough people interested in this type of event then you have every right to arrange one.
Perhaps by placing the thread in the cafe section has lead for some people to feel you are being disingenuous/provocative though I would like to hope not. Duncan’s suggestion with regard to advertising in the Lets Meet Up section is one you may wish to consider, that is really the only way you would be able to measure its popularity.

Have to say I'd be in, too.
Although skeptical Lost would be up for turning up. Initially having knocked the idea we would support the event were it to come about as its important to support and encourage the people organising them after all they are the ones keeping things going and moving on. Get that event up and sigh us up. :D

with responses from black females, then look for a second larger venue, but only when you feel you have too many for the pub. You don't have to run before you walk and hire the O2 Arena.
