Ok, I am once again looking back to youth and the time forumites left school.
What was fashionable clothes wise. Maybe give an example of 2 tunes (from the time) that would of been popular as well.
For me the clothes would of been - 'Tonics' - Fred Perry T-shirts - Desert Boots.
The music would of been the tunes :- Dexy's - come on Eileen & Kraftwerks - the Model

Mrs Grif x
When I left school there were three looks.
1. Grunge/Greebo
2. Townie: Lots of Ralph Lauren Shirts
2. Indie:
Music. Well it was Cool Britania and we had it all. Oasis, Blur and my personal favourite Pulp fronted by the God like Jarvis Cocker. Just listen to Babies, Sheffield Sex City, Do You Remember The Fist Time and of course Common People.
Its a testament to how good music & fashion was then that go to any indie bar or club now & they mostly play "my" music and wear the same clobber.
Friday x
i never had any fashion sense
basketball boots ( before they became trendy and price quadrupled)
cargo pants with pockets in trouser legs, at parties had a bottle of vodka in one leg a bottle of coke in the other.
A-HA
TRANSVISION VAMP (Wendy james thought se was hot)
Black Sabbath
AC/DC (got For those about to Rock playing at the moment as i type)
hmm must be more
