Booking a hotel

Hello I was wondering if anyone had any advice about booking a hotel for some fun, we dont plan to stay over night just meet up and have some afternoon delight!
Ive looked but unsure if places would rent a room just for the afternoon!
Any tips or how you do it!?
sometimes its just as expensive to book for just the afternoon as it would be for an overnight stay, so what about booking it for overnight as you would normally and then book in as normal stay and do what you want to but leave before the evening, no one any the wiser and no embarrassment.
Just ask for a DAY room. Use the larger hotel chains. I use the Novotel near Heathrow. I exepect Premier Inns would do something the same.
You may have to reserve on a debit/credit card, but you can pay in cash without registering the transaction on your statements.
The main thing is not to try some shifty approach or sound dodgy. They know what you want the room for, so don't give them silly behaviour.

Be aware that many hotels clean in the afternoons and you may not be able to get in your room till after 2,or so i have been told innocent

yes but if what they are after is afternoon fun surly it could start from 2pm unless its just during school hours they need, also if this is what you want some hotels offer an early booking in service
I tend to opt for the thinking that hotels don't care what you do as long as you've paid & you don't trash the room! So I would say go for a cheapish chain, book early & get a good deal. Ask if you can get there a bit early, pay for your room, f*ck like rabbits & then waltz out, handing your key in with a glint in your eye & a flush in your cheeks!
I love that bit. But then I can be a bit brazen! wink
Thanks for the advice everyone I'll see what I can sort out!
Only want a nap in the afternoon with a friend!!!
Nothing to do with afternoon delights, but I thought this threadmight suit you!
:P
Can speak from fairly frequent experience on this one. Due to circumstances which are fully known by all that matter I do book a very close lady friend and myself into a local hotel for an evening every couple of weeks. Nola has hit the nail on the head by saying that any hotel owner/manager would be happy to be paid for a room even for a few hours use rather than see it remain empty. Choose a reasonable budget hotel...thats all you need unless of course you want the bells and whistles. It costs us around £32 split strictly down the middle for our 3-4 hours of enjoying eachother. This particular hotel can be booked on line but nothing will be taken from your account giving you the option to pay cash on arrival which suits us. There is no embarrassment, we know why we are there so does the lovely lady on the desk....we are getting to know her now!!! At around when we check out she normally asks "Everything all right?". Its difficult to keep the grin under control!!!!! Still a deliciously naughty feeling though!!!!
Smooth1 plus lady friend.

I dont understand the need to pay in cash. Once you've reserved your room, the hotel know who you are anyway... dunno
Let's face it, booking a hotel for sex isn't exactly a crime, or have I missed something?
People book afternoon rooms simply to change for a special evening event. It's no big deal to book a room for any purpose. I suspect what there is here is a feeling that "if I book a room for sex everyone will know".
1. who cares if they know?
2. there is no reason why they should.
biggrin

I would think it's a credit card statement with unexplained hotel charges that's the problem. lol

Which would mean that there is someone else involved who a) doesn't know about the hotel sex session and b) checks credit card statements that don't belong to them.
That's an unpleasant situation all round.

you're not really missing anything. its just an option any decent hotel will offer.
you have to have an identity to book into a hotel. which in its simplest form is your name and address. some hotels require more than your word to accept your booking. so a visa card is acceptable id.
by using the visa as your id you can reserve the room. then you can pay by cash and the transaction doesn't show on your card statements. handy for cheaters.
the easiest way to book is to phone the hotel and ask for a 'day' room. they really don't care why you are there. they just need to know what they have to do to prepare the room and service it afterwards, and what your likely requirements will be. if you wanted a swan carved in ice they'd get it for you. etc.
its a bit nerve wracking the first time you put together a session in a hotel, but thereafter you know that sometimes its the best thing to do.

Its not a worry for either or anyone else really.
There's also a website called "Snoozebookers" where you can book a room from 11am to 4pm and it cost £69 smile

Not sure how you get around the credit/debit card charge tho??

I didn't say "only" as I agree, it's not cheap. I was smiling at it being "69". A website specifically for discrete hotel meetings, and they decide on 69 lol
theres something quite thrilling about turning up at a hotel with a long overcoat on overneath sexy lingerie, with no baggage (manage to pack essentials in handbag) meet your guy in the bar or even walk straight up to room, have few hours of fun then leave with sparkle in your eye looking a little dishevelled and smelling of sex!!!!!
will have to check out those day deals tho, mind travelodge can be really cheap and if a regular meet they often have £12 or so deals you can book in advance
