I'm by no means as young as I used to be and over the last few months I've been under a fair bit of stress and it seems to have taken its toll on my boyish good looks confused
I'm being serious for once..........
t'other month I went out for a drink with a friend who'd not seen me for a month or 2 only for them to proclaim that I looked rough. :?
My mate’s new girlfriend asked my age when we were out on Saturday night I foolishly asked her to guess and this she did. But was a good 5 years out and the wrong way for my liking.sad
Hell I even turned up at my parents last weekend for both of them to remark that I looked

haggard AND awful

Anyhoo I've studied myself in the mirror the last few days and to be honest I think I can see the problem. I've lost a fair bit of weight not that I was ever over weight to start with but it all seems to have gone off my face. Now I naturally have bags under my eyes even my 8 yo has them but couple them with crows feet and other ahem laughter lines and the result is a not so youthful moi.
So I'm thinking about having a bit of a helping hand with the aid of botox. So if anyone has any tales to tell when it comes to using this treatment I'd love to hear them. Be they good ones or bad ones they are all welcome. But please no scaremongering, rumors or stories from your mate Dave down the pub who once knew a chap whose dog’s uncle’s owner’s brothering laws forehead hasn't moved for six months since he had his treatment done.
It's not the type of thing I’m jumping into headfirst especially since I know the sum total of fook all about it so far and I’m still in the pondering stage so all guidance will be greatly received. smile

Make some lifestyle changes that will make a difference to your face- e.g. lay off the hangover juice & drink lots of water. If a change in your diet/lifestyle doesn't help within a couple of months (take some pics to document) then consider a more radical option. Try to remove the cracks rather than papering over them.
If this fails- avoid mirrors, & don't be a muppet! kiss
Smoking is also very bad for the skin and causes premature ageing.
As Wenchy suggests, try some changes to the way you live before deciding to have neurotoxins injected into your face!
If poisening your skin, or surgery doesn't work. You could try skin care products. I understand that there are now several available over the counter in chemists in suitably manly black or silver containers. If however you feel you would be letting your gender down by using moisturisers then try rubbing beef dripping in before you go to bed biggrin :D :D

If I'm truthfull I can't see it as a lifestyle thing, I've not had a drink in over 2 months now  (i'm too tight fisted to pay for a taxi so I drive if I go out) As for the rest of my lifestyle it's pretty tip top (for once). I eat very well, not had chips etc in fook knows how long and since I've now decided to have the summer off work all I do is get up search the net for a decent new (to me) golf course and go and play a round or 3 every week and as for skin care I moisturise twice daily. My hands are so soft even Nanette Newman is jealous lol
OMG prehaps thats the problem I'm living too healthy a life, after 15 years of fry ups etc my body can't cope with all this salad and is protesting by damageing my good looks confused
As for the smoking I did think that would help but i'll have to work round that as the chances of me giving up are slim to non. Call me weak willed if ya like but I ain't givin up me cigs :smoke:
might sound silly, but , have you thought about changing the color of the clothes you wear?
i was told years ago that as women age ( yes i know your not a woman) they dont always understand that the skin tone can alter. they continue to use the same make up colours , foundation etc and wear the same cloth colours that once complimented their skin tones.
sometimes a change of colthing can make a massive difference to the efect it has in our personalities and reflection on our skin and faces.
botox is in my opinion radical. im not sure but if the lines are exageratted from weight loss would botox even help? it doesnt actually fill in lines it just paralizes (sp) the muscles that when one smiles show up the lines. i think.
sorry i know you didnt want guesses.
take a trip for a massage and facial ( not cum) hair cut and new top and see if people start commenting your looking well.
looking comfortable in your skin isnt always a bad thing , some of us ladies like the lived in look lol
xxx fem xxx
and while your at it why don't you paint your toenails and shave your armpits......... cool
get a grip you big girls blouse rolleyes
as others have said, why not sort out your life style as that is what's causing the problem.
Stop putting toxins in you're body.......rather than adding more...
botox is a quick fix for the odd line or wrinkle..........its won't sort out what you want it to
Its probably very dangerous as is vanity and self obsession

I see you've crawled out from under your rock then
:giggle:
Sheddy, as others have said, you don't need to go putting more toxins into a body that's had more than it's fair share so far. Think Botox, think Melanie Griffiths  :scared:
Nuff said? wink
