Here's a question that strikes me as fairly central to the existence of a site like this: and if it's already been discussed, let me know (did a quck cursory search, didn't turn anything up): what's the proportion of male to female on this site? I suspect it's something like 80:20, minimum - meaning if you're a, say, single female and new to the site, saying 'hello' is something akin to turning into a gazelle, smearing yourself in barbecue sauce and walking into the middle of a cheetah convention: you'd get a somewhat overwhelming response. Given the sheer number of single males in relation to females in this website, how do y'all deal with it?

It's been done before, it wasn't very interesting, the search button is your friend.
Basically, that ration is probably accurate for the photo ads (in fact it's more like 10 or 15 to 1), but on the forums there's a much more even mix of men, women, and couples of all persuasions.
