I love these things, my teacher in school used to give us one of these every week and the winner used to get a prize. Anyway, here is one to tax you all......
I am the world's greatest traveler. I have been transported by camel, dog sled, pony express, bicycle ,train, steamship, automobile/car, airplane, airship, and rocket. I have portraits of presidents, kings, queens, princes, princesses, shahs, sultans, tribal chiefs, adventures, explorers, patriots, martyrs, inventors, pioneers, artists, musicians, architects, poets, aviators, dramatists, novelists, painters, athletes, cardinals, saints, and sinners.
I have pictures of foreign beaches, rivers, lakes, sounds, waterfalls, geysers, mountains, monuments, castles, temples and ruins of temples, missions, bridges, harbors, docks, locks, locomotives/trains, balloons, rockets, zeppelins, windjammers, native canoes, modern seaplanes, and the world.
What am I? biggrin

There is a common English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word - from nine letters right down to the last letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time? ..... rolleyes

Right,
I have a friend that has difficulty with the distinction between dream and reality, everything he experiences whilst asleep is false, whereas his experiences whilst awake are obviously true.
One night he experienced that both he and his girlfriend were asleep.
Was he asleep? Was his girlfriend asleep?

If everything he experiences when he's asleep is false, then he was asleep and his girlfriend wasn't............ possibly..............maybe.............my brain hurts now

If he was awake then he couldn't have been asleep coz everything he experiences whilst awake is true... So he is asleep..... his girlfriend is not covered by the same parameters though.. so she is awake.

Your answer is right but your logic isn't quite there.
He can't be awake because he experienced being asleep.
He experienced that BOTH he and his girlfriend were asleep.
This is one fact that must be wrong because he is asleep.
So they can't both be asleep, thus his girlfriend must have been awake.
Maybe his snoring kept her awake biggrin

This one is probably far too easy, but here goes:
A frog is sat, dead in the centre of a circle that has a diameter of 6 12 feet. How far does the frog have to jump to be clear of the circle?
