If you drop a ton of bricks, and a ton of feathers from the same height, at the same time, which would reach the ground first?
they would both land at the same time cos they both weigh a ton.
I think its safe to say I suck at posing brain-teasers confused :P

The Chompem Cannibals of Drybone Island have the annoying habit of eating each other. In fact, Grandpa Chompem went missing only last week, and it was thought he'd lost his way home until his bits and pieces were found on the beach. One evening, the Chompems threw a dinner party, one of those bring-a-friend get-togethers. Six cannibals turned up and they decided to eat each other in turn. So someone was selected for everyone to eat (except the victim!), and when he had been eaten, someone else was selected, and so on. If it took one cannibal two hours on his own to devour one person, how long was it before just one consumer remained?

4 hrs 34 mins?

So someone was selected for everyone to eat (except the victim!), and when he had been eaten, someone else was selected, and so on. If it took one cannibal two hours on his own to devour one person, how long was it before just one consumer remained?

The obvious answer is 4 hours 34 mins but it's wrong.
This answer assumes 5 cannibals take 24 minutes to eat one, 4 cannibals take 30 mins to eat the next one, 3 take 40 mins, 2 take 60 mins, and 1 takes 120 mins. The reason it's wrong is because the second course is not one cannibal, it's 1.2 cannibals because they have each eaten 0.2 of a cannibal. The third course is 1.5 cannibals because everyone now weighs 1.2 cannibals plus a quarter each of the 1.2 cannibals the reamining 4 just ate. 3 cannibals each weighing 1.5 now eat a third each of the other 1.5 cannibal, increasing their weight by 0.5 each, so now they each have double their original weight. 2 double-weight cannibals now eat half a double-weight cannibal each, increasing their weight to 3 each. Finally, one of the triple-weight cannibals eats the other.
The timings then are as follows:
5 cannibals eat 1 cannibal = 120/5 = 24 minutes. Each survivor now weighs 1.2
4 cannibals weighing 1.2 each, eat the other 1.2 = 144/4 = 36 minutes. Each survivor now weighs 1.5
3 cannibals weighing 1.5 each, eat the other 1.5 = 180/3 = 60 minutes. Each survivor now weighs 2
2 cannibals weighing 2 each, eat the other 2 = 240/2 = 120 minutes. Each survivor now weighs 3
1 cannibal weighing 3, eats the other 3 = 360 minutes. Survivor now weighs 6
Total 10 hours.
As you can now see, at every stage the combined weight of the survivors remains a constant 6, which it must do assuming nobody throws up or takes a dump. lol
(PS - I'm sometimes prone to dodgy arithmetic, but I think my logic's OK, and I've just spotted something that proves the above is correct: The final survivor eats constantly, and eventually consumes all the other five cannibals. They ate each other along the way, but the last man standing still ended up effectively eating them all, so the ten hours has to be correct because that's how long it takes one man to eat five men.)

The answer is 3 to the power of 4, i.e. 3x3x3x3
There are three possibilities for the north wall - red or white or blue - and each of those has three possibilities for the west wall = 9. Each of those 9 has three possibilities for the south wall = 27 and each of those has three possibilities for the east wall = 81

Your go.
There once was an evil wizard. He kidnapped 3 women from their homes and magically turned them into rose bushes, which he planted in his garden. They were completely identical rosebushes in every way.
One of the women had a husband and children. Her husband went to the wizard and pleaded with the wizard to change her back and let her come home.
The wizard agreed upon one condition. The wizard would bring the man his wife in her rose bush form, he would leave her at their home overnight and come back for her the next morning. The next morning the man was to bring the rose bush back to the wizard, the wizard would replant her in the garden, out of sight of the man. If the man could then choose which rosebush was his wife, the wizard would lift the spell and the wife could return home.
The one condition was this: The man could do nothing to alter the smell or appearance of the beautiful rosebush. To bind the man to this condition, the wizard cast a spell upon the rosebush that would allow nothing to alter her in any way.
All went as arranged. The next morning the man returned the rosebush. Out of sight of the man, the wizard replanted the rosebush amongst the other two. He raked the ground to cover any signs of which of the rosebushes had just been replanted.
The husband was then allowed into the garden. He looked and looked at the 3 identical rose bushes, trying to figure out which could be his wife. Suddenly he knew the answer and he exclaimed in glee, "this is my wife"! The wizard grumpily agreed it was indeed the mans wife, lifted the spell and the husband joyfully took his wife home.
The question is, how did the man know which rose bush was his wife?
The other two had dew on them?
