Hi all A big thank you to Dave and Midschick for arranging the Bristol Social. Not gonna tell lies and say we had a great time We were the ones sat in the corner whilst Mrs Tweeky was completely and utterly drunk by !!!!!!! ended up being sick in the loo and got us chucked out by the door men. I have well and truly given here the hairdryer treatment I think she will just about have recovered tonight in time for her Valentines day treat ;) This is the paragraph where I normally write that it was nice to meet you all but it says this instead for the above reason :neutral: Maybe see you all again sometime. Mrs Tweeky also wish's me to send her apologies to everyone she fell into and or stuck a kiss or hug on with no invitation. I could see some of you were quite taken back :lol: Well until next time maybe, thanks again Dave and Midschick :thumbup:

Dave as jon has written all by himself ..i will also do the same ..!!!! We had an absolute blast ..loved catching up with our buddies again and it was a great to see new faces too. The hotel was lush and I giggled from start to finish..what a way to spend a weekend. All credit to u for the organisation, planning, care and attention u gave your guests throughout the weekend. Thanks for organising Dave. It was great to put some faces to names. Apologies to anyone we didnt get round to saying hi to. We found the venue rather claustrophobic, stuck it for an hour then headed off with some others for a boogie at Reflex. If anyones wondering, Jewl was the strawberry blonde in the multi-coloured silk frock and I was the rather uncomfortable looking bloke hanging round with her.

I have to say Dave did a great job sorting the social out again, just a shame the venue let everyone down. Sorry I disappeared, but it was way too cold to hang around outside so some of us went off to Reflex for a night of 80's music.
Ok think its my turn now.... I'd like to thank everyone that turned up over the 2 days, so many great people, so little time!! Personally like alot of you were i was disappointed with Saturday nights venue too, alot of it was out of my control. I was let down with the original venue and then given less space on saturday than i was promised. Although it might not of been quite ideal, judging from the forum posts and emails i've received i think nearly all of you made the most of it. (If anyone knows of any ideal venues please let me know, i'm more than happy to take suggestions). Enough on that subject...... To the people that read this, if you ever put your name down for any event, please have the decency to let people know if you intend to follow it through or cancel your place. People put alot of effort into organising any sort of event and its just plain rude to not let them know what your plans are on going. To those that i spent quality time with over the weekend, either over coffee, dinner, copious amounts of alcohol or early into the morning i'd like to thank you all for making it a very memorable couple of days. Hope to see you all again very very soon, Dave xx
Nearly everyone that confirmed turned up for both nights, its the ones that requested places befor hand and neither confirmed their place or cancelled it, especially the single guys, should i be surprised!!!!
