Hi All,
This morning, I took part in the British 10k Run in London, and was really taken back by the number of people that were there (numbers on shirts was upto 25,000), and the number of different charities that were supported.
I set off from the start line with hardly any traiing, and had large doubts that I would cross the finish line, but every time you slowed down, or started walking fellow runners, and the crowd urged u on. And crossing the line has to be one of the best things I have ever done..
Not sure if anyone else of the site ran it, but would like to shout a bit Well done to everyone who took part, both in the organisation to the runners

Well done Jiggle! My late hubby used to be a runner and ran a lot of 10k's in Oxford and he said the best feeling was running across the finishing line...
Good on you biggrin
well done jiggle, we knew ya could do it, maybe a little bit of training is called for next year and someone to massage you at the finish line lol
pen xxxxxxxxxx
Good on yer, Jiggle, it's great that you went out there and give it a go. The crowd alone adds an extra couple of mph to your running and certainly will always help at the end.
I'm doing the Great North Run later this year which is a half marathon, hoping to raise about £1,000 for the NSPCC - better start me training!! bolt

I don't 'do' running......all that bouncing up and down ain't good for the joints, shock impact and all that ( my excuse and I'm sticking to it flipa )
Well done jiggle.

not that i was being pervy when i was running around.. but there were some great asses (the female type) running around .. nearly lost my concentration on a few times!
thank you to everyone for the comments.

Anyone for an SH running club? I'm doing the Tough Guy in a couple of weeks.
I did the Manchester Urbanathlon this morning. Good fun, especially the waterslide but not muddy enough. Still, good preparation for Tough Guy.
