Simple fact is, the country can't cope with the vast levels of immigration, so the only option left is even for those that have roots going back generations is to leave, forced out.

I certainly do NOT agree with that at all.
There are a massive ammount of immigrants who since the 60's have settled here, and are bloody brilliant for our country and our economy. I know of many and prefere most of them to the white indigenous people for sure. I am glad most of them are here, for what its worth.
I do not agree with the current trend of Eastern Europeans, with no limits as to how many can come here, simply because they are part of the european union. We simply cannot take them all, and it is not racist at all to say so.
We are full and it should stop now.
My Grand Parents and generations before that fought for the british... and along side them.
My parents currently retired used to have houses they worked hard to buy and rent. My father used to work 20hrs a day or more, in 3 different jobs, to get to where he was. He found that people started putting out tenents in order to take in people coming from europe and asylum seekers to get more rent. He argued the case why was his house's rent valued less than the couples house that was worse then his higher in rent. He was told because their rent is paid from a different set of money, if he want more money why doesn't he throuw out the low income white family living there and get asylum seeker in. He chose to keep the low income family. But it makes you question when someone comes from another country, works hard, faced racism daily when he tried to get somewhere, got his children education with helping fund them, still chose to help a british family, when some other british white people chose to throw there own out on the ]
This is going on all over the country, there are landlords in Scotland that are paid "incentives" to house Poles, and are actively refusing natives housing.
They are also being given council housing ahead of natives who are in homeless situations.
It's this political action and policy that creates the very racist attitudes thay condemn.
Did you miss my point?

Seems you missed mine, as that is what I said.

We all have choices..... sadly when this happens the far right seem to influence people who do not think and don't realise its the person from another country helping fellow "natives". They channel racism towards them who can be seen to be from another country.
Its the S on the end of Native that changes the context Hib of how it comes across.
Righty - we are way off topic here!!

Kent, that was my point, the country cannot support the vast influx.
I think you have misread what I said, I wasn't saying people "should be forced to leave" I was saying people "are being forced to leave" by the circumstance not by authority.
Sorry hibs, too much work today has scrambled me brains...appologies this end. cool

Dont you mean British? On the census forms it does not give that option when asking for ones nationality...It only states are you British and when some guy crossed it out last time to English, he was hit with a £200 fine.

Can't remember what I put on the census form, but I'm sure Welsh was an option.

Well if you are from Ireland you are Irish...if you are from Wales you are Welsh....if you are from Scotland you are Scottish but....If you are from England you are British?
Work that one out. lol

That is why Wales, Scotland and Ireland point out the fact they have their own nationality.
What is Englands national anthem?
God save the queen, yet it's also britains.
I'm a Republican. I don't recognise the queen of England as my queen.
But that is another story, and it's getting all heavily political again.

Start on your bottle of wine then...ya misery. lol

“Broken Britain” is a term that the Sun newspaper in the UK is using the describe the supposed lawlessness of the youth there. If you read the tabloids it’s as if Britain has decided to skip going down the pub for some binge drinking and gone straight into the fighting part of the night (or day). With knives. Or that’s how they’d like us believe. This phrase was used in the headline “Broken Britain at its worst” and the article reads:
LAWLESS thugs take turns to boot an unconscious man in the head - while a teenage GIRL causally rifles his pockets. The five feral thugs are seen battering the defenceless victim to the floor in the street in this sickening CCTV footage, before kicking his head like a football.
One of many examples out there. Knife crime, gun crime, drugs, to name a few.
Police dont have the resources, hospitals dont have the staff. Teachers having to deal with paperwork up to their armpits, and ferel kids with no respect.
Everything going up on a daily basis except your wages. Petrol at a record high, stealth taxes coming out of our ears, with very little to show for all that extra money.
And the weather has been crap all year. lol
Phew.... bloody fingers are hurting now, and I aint even started.

Enoch Powell had a point though.

Which point did Enoch Powell have?
His " rivers of blood " speech did happen in the 80's with mass riots in Brixton and Toxteth. He did say it would happen and it did. Also has happened in Bradford, and many places are like a powder keg now, waiting to go up.
He also said " Powell estimated that by the year 2000, the figure would be 5 to 7 million immigrants ". Which he may have been a few years out but that figure now in 2008 is not that far out, according to stats.
They are facts but does in no way say that I agreed or agree with his policies or his views.
Wait a sec...kentswingers777. Am from Toxteth.
So you better know your facts & you don't...mate.
The reason for the Riots or Uprising as I like to call them. Was due to one factor & know this my family was directly affected this issue many times....
Racist Policing of the Merseyside Police towards the Black Community of Toxteth.
How much bullying can one person(s) take... confused:
Yet those that defended themselves are still catorgized as the bad guys.
kentswingers777, you are making quotes about a group of people that you know nothing about.. :!:
As I said in a previous post in this thread...Britian went all over the world & robbed the natural resources of others.
When they ruled over people that where normally Brown; they gave the propaganda about 'the Mother Country'.
So when their subjects came to the Mother Country all they got was Racism & it was their nations, sweat, blood & many tears. Which built YOUR nation kentswingers777.

I feel that the reason why Britain is 'broken' is due to the fact that it was based or built on a lie.
This lie being the Empire therefore making it Great Britain.
All Empire's fall or destory themsleves because they take & never give anything in return.
So Empire's are cursed due to the wickness that they have done to others.
For the record, I am Mixed Race born & living in Liverpool. All I have experienced living my entire 31 years in this country is negativity.
An example of this is our collectivite obsession with the Weather... confused:
All we do is moan about it raining.
It's Britian it has & will always Rain along with the Weather being unpredictable.
I've been in contact with people from all over the world & even they cannot understand the obsession over the Weather, that we have... :?:
We moan about not getting enough Hot Summers like we are in the same part of the globe as
Jamaica...
Again an example of moaning negative Britian.
As I've mentioned in a previous thread about winning the Lottery, I mentioned about the affect that spending a hoilday in Barbados had on me last year (2006). The people had a pride & respect for there environment that I've never seen.
No spit, no Dog Mess, no litter in the streets, no vomit in the city centre after a Saturday night / Sunday Morning.
Just a quite polite respect for the nation & their history. That manifests in a respect for the elderly, beaches, Police, property.
I would really look back at the History of Great Britain & all you really see is misery....
Absloute Monchary.
Press Gangs.
The exploitation of the most vulnerable for the gain of the few wealthy elite.
London centric...the futher away the less opportunities you have. This has been going on for centuries & still exsits.
The Slave Trade...Africa & the entire African diaspora still are feeling the affect of this today.
Our historical relationship with Alcohol & Illegal Drugs. We drink & take more Drugs than any other nation in Europe... :!:
Their are many things that this nation does well & has given the world for the better...from the Railway / Steam Train to Football to
The Rolling Stones....
So am not Anti - Britian, if you create something on a lie then it will always be negative & poison.
I've tried to contribute to this thread without writing a essay (that would be very easy for me to produce), I hope that you can understand my points either if you agree or disagree.
