I met an old gentleman of 90 today. During the course of our conversation he mentioned that he was having a bit of trouble & had to call the police a couple of times. Apparently his 21 year old next door neighbour has set up a brothel.
"Its not like the old days. When I was in Burma they used to charge tuppence a go" lol

Convert that into local Burmese currency/learning potential, take into account inflation and you'll see it's not as good as it seems.
Still why's he complaining if he has used such services himself?

My thread was more about the fact that I had never met the guy before & my jaw dropped at the fact that we could get on to a subject like this while selling the man a watch strap lol

I believe 2d was the going rate in many a British 'owned' place. The word "tuppence" being used as a euphemism for ones twat, for some time after. Is still used in certain circles, too.
