Only just spotted this thread!
I live down south! I've got blue hair! I've even been known to not only attend Electrowerkz but also to DJ there!
My own taste in electronic music is the odder and gentler stuff - Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada - but I'm a big supporter of Nine Inch Nails (last album - bit ropey) as well as people like Lorraine Bowen, Cardiacs, Laurie Anderson, Orbital...
Awwww, only just found this thread too!
Am I a metal head, well, yeah, love all things rock and I mean real ROCK!
Granted, the music I listen to now is certainly a lot different to even 10 years ago, I was prancing around to the likes of Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth and Sepultura etc etc then....
Quite like the sound of Velvet Revolver now, got a fab grungy sound to it. Always loved Nine Inch Nails (mmmmm can't help loving the song Closer....) Breaking Benjamin is good too, I guess I'm toning it down now in my slightly older years...... well, ok, 33.
I met hubby in a rock club, here in Lincoln and he used to be the Lighting and Sound Manager at Rock City in Nottingham, so met alot of the classic rock groups of yesteryear and have several pints backstage with them - lucky sod!
can't stop playing Coheed and Cambria right now, not sure what category they fall into though.
This is the South Calling!
