i think i have just realised a girl can have too many shoes ,i only have 2 feet and can only wear one pair at any one time ,however why do i feel the compulsion to buy new shoes on a regular basis ,(6 pairs so far this week ) :roll: i have come to the conclusion that i always feel guilty after buying some ,i cant eat them ,and i cant pay my bills with them so why do i feel that i must have them ,they make me look taller and i can honestlly say there isnt a colour in the shoe department that i dont have ,ohh and did i mention that i have handbags to match every pair however i have now decided as of soooooooooon well sorrta soon i am going to stop buying shoes i dont need so when i reach 250 pairs of shoes im going to stop :idea: so at 214 at moment and counting 36 pairs to go then my shoe days will be over :!: :!: :!: do boots count : :?: can we ever have enough shoes or is it just me :twisted: :roll: :roll: _________________
No.....a lady can never have to many shoes.......just hide them better, or when you buy them find a way to sneak them into the house so he doesn't see and then when he asks if they're new you can tell him you've had them for ages :lol2:

Just be careful what you do to get them. If they're honestly come by, your conscience is clear, especially if they're soft Italian leather with elegant heels and very small stiches....... ......excuse me I have to go shop. H.x

You know, I've never yet felt the need to lie to my husband about anything I've bought. No hiding things and saying I've had them ages or anything like that.
Dont get me started on shoes!! I love!!!!!! em, even Mr Wire looks out for nice shoes as well now, most I've bought in a week was 11 :shock: which reminds me, I havent bought any since last week, :cry: shoppingggg this weekend I guess then xxj

You're lucky actually petal I think quite of lot of women have or do do this. I've done it once when we were really short of money years ago but saw a cardy type coat thing that I really wanted. I bought it and when it came to wearing it I said I'd bought it in the sale, there were no sales :shock: I didn't like the feeling of lying to him to be honest and the thing is if I'd asked he would've said yes anyway. On another note, my mam years ago had a shopping compulsive order whereby she bought and bought and hid and hid. They've now split up and I guess she was buying to hide her pain.
Im not gonna count but im guessing I have about 25ish pairs, im running out of space to keep them but I have been eyeing up a few pairs of nice boots!! so who knows the figure might increase!!

For you girls it's shoes. For me it's trainers and although I have lots of pairs I take this to another extreme. I will not buy a pair that someone else in my region will have and to make sure of this I only buy from four shops. One in Brighton, one in London, one in San Diego and the other in Phoenix. Do any of you girls go to such extremes?
