Can Sh become addictive?

I have been a member now for about 18months and started using the chat rooms a year ago now. At that time I found myself gradually using the rooms more and more as the banter and fun was a good laugh. We have had some great evenings in the chat rooms and a real good laugh. I believe I became hooked and was going on most days and nights when I was at home and kids were not about.
Back in about March I was introduced to the forums it took me a while to get settled in here, as a lot of people seemed a little nervous about me for a while, a stranger asking questions, I was even asked on a few occasions if I was a reporter! rolleyes

But once I kind of felt accepted I steamed ahead and found again I was hooked.
Now I am happy to use both the chat rooms and the forums when I feel like it I have cured I believe my addition. I don’t feel the need to have to do either but just now enjoy popping in.
So yes I think I have had an addiction which is strange as I don’t generally have that type nature.
Do you think you have ever been hooked on SH?
Does it just draw you in?

God yes this is addictive, I'm on here most nights looking around the forums and in the chatrooms.
I've been on here 3 years and think I only really started to post this year...
To be honest I think it becomes more addictive with the more friends you make, as lets face it if no-one spoke to us we wouldn't be on here as much if at all!
Every so often I take a week out and return to "the real world" and I think that does you the world of good especially when things kick off and you feel the need to get away.

I find it very addictive.
I was having the same thought the other day about starting a similar thread.
I go through phases, sometimes i really enjoy reading the stories, sometimes just love to get involved on forum threads,join in chat room or at other times just happy to peoplewatch in chatrooms and say nothing.I guess it all depends on my mood.

For me this is very addictive…… maybe because I have so much fun ……
God sometimes I would sooner be in chat or the forum than out in the vanilla world…
‘trying’ to pretend I am not a horny sex goddess……
I have made some special friends here and I just love the place…

its so addictive...... i think everyone else is in denial.
I have tried to get into autotrader online, but it doesnt have the same pull somehow

I think it can become addictive for different reasons for different people.
Personally, I have been a member for 10 months. At first I was on every spare minute when my son was not around! I am a single mum with a busy job,and didnt really do much else but work and taxi my son about! I was in bed by 9 most nights. Suddenly I had "company" of an evening by using the chat rooms.
Over the past few months Im on most days but nothing like at the beginning. Ive also learnt to get more from the site by using the forums. I find some of the discussions here enlightening and interesting, and so diverse in subject matter!!
So for me the addiction was the company and, to a degree, the attention from people wanting to meet or get to know also makes me sit and do something for myself for a change. In turn that has made me realise that I deserve time and fun and I have done something about that- apart from SH!
And of course I have met some great people and had some great sex!!!!!! (nearly forgot that bit - as if!!)
