oooh i love this picture, dont you just want to run along and jump in, if i remember rightly i think its Ullswater??? ive seen this on a wall and it says that underneath but i will double check next time im there x

That view is Derwentwater looking across to Catbells, I've gopt loads of piccies of the lakes like that, its all of ooohh 20 mins from me on a slow tourist traffic ridden day, so if your visiting drop me a line and i'll give you a personal guided tour.

You would not be disappointed, it's God's own country!! There are however, many more spectacular views in the Lakes. It's the black and white composition of this photograph that makes it so atmospheric.
I was actually there this time last week, crossing Derwentwater on the launch. The view over Derwentwater from Ashness Bridge was breathtaking, unfortunately I'd forgotten my camera. :sad:
