I was walking across the Cathedral Close. Two Women asked me to take a picture of them with the Cathedral in the back ground, what type of picture did you think?
It strikes me it happens a lot, and I ask;
1 does it happen to others?
2 am I just so attractive they just have to talk to me?
3 do I just look so harmless I am considered safe?
Do you ask people to record your moments?
Have you ever given your camera to a camel rider at the primides? If you did did you get it back?
I'm often accosted and asked to take pics and I like doing it. I must have 'former tour guide' vibes still coming off me! Mind you, people seem to approach me for directions a lot too - maybe we're just smily and approachable peeps!
Rarely get others to take pics for me though.
A lot of the time it can just be if you make eye contact with them.
Hehehehe , sitting here giggling cos of a similar experience we had in Rome at Christmas just gone. We walked around the vatican museum with a particularly loud and unpleasant group of Older Americans on a tour that they paid no attention to, and constantly complained and whined. When we got outside one of the gentlemen in their group asked me to take a photo of him and his wife in front of StPeters before they got on their coach (presumably off to another whirlwind tour to ignore great works of art). I smiled and said of course, then proceeded to zoom in and take an extreme close up of his big huge wifes crimplene trousered cameltoe. They thanked me and left.
:twisted:
