Hi everyone,

We recently had Channel 4 get in touch regarding a documentary on swinging.

I am going to post it here in case it would be of interest to any of our members, just submit a ticket from the contact us page if you are interested and I can send you their contact details.

Thanks,

Sarah

" Hi Swinging Heaven team,

Hope you’re well

My name is Lee and I’m contacting you from a television production company called Nineteen11, .
We are currently casting for a brand new Channel 4 documentary taking a look behind closed doors of the swinging scene in the UK, looking for couples or individuals who are interested in allowing us to follow their journey. It will be an honest portrayal, that seeks to inform the general public of what it is really like to be part of the 'scene'.

As part of the documentary we will be organising Special Invite Only parties for our contributors to attend at Liberty Elite club in Leicestershire. These invitation only parties mean that every person in attendance has given permission to be filmed ‘enjoying’ the event.

It would be great if you could help us spread the word by posting the attached flyer on your page, sharing it on your social media or sending to anyone you may think would like to take part."

I wouldn't trust C4 or their associates as far as I could spit them but it'll be interesting to see how many people do.

not my cup of tea.. And as much as people like  the voyeur scene  its a big jump to go from a platform of like minded people to very judgmental  uk pedestal of potential ridicule. I think carefully before posting a simple pictures here..

Who else watched this the other day?

Forgot about it when it was on - just watched it on 4 On Demand - has anyone been to Liberty Elite at Rugby?

Titillating TV made to increase  audience numbers, thats all.

Given how bad it could have been, I thought it was reasonably respectful and gave a bit of a nod to the dynamics in relationships. Bearing in mind how any such programme is edited to magnify any conflict to create misleading narratives.

That's modern 'reality' TV for you - rather less 'real' than 'fake'.  It's the same with large portions of our news output.
