Dunno what other peoples take on this is , but from where i am looking , Donna and Richard are just about the best advert for swinging u could get. Caring , considerate and easy going . Excellent.

I agree, did not like the host though - smells of ashtrays
I just found the programme boring . . like to make that clear.
Yeah i tend to agree about the host. He just didnt seem into the scene , basically he seemed like he was in the wrong job. Maybe if he offered cookery courses for bisexual Jackie Chan fans then maybe he would be more enthusiastic.
Was happy to see that the young couple took the plunge in the end , which yet again was a testament to D & R's approach , and nothing to do with the surroundings / facilities offered by the host.

i finally got to watch it tonight and gotta admit the older bloke was a bad advert for it..he was kinda pervy
cant remeber his name
but i liked the 2 other couples
Hiya you guys!
We just got back from a night out! Your general consensus on the host was absolutely right, he was somewhat of a sargeant major who liked his "rules, rules, rules!" We had a good time out there, considering the situation. Craig and Gill were new but we had a lot of fun with them. Tim and Michelle were also good fun, although (I'm too hairy! lol) but we have met up with them all since and had a good telephone conversation with them tonight. Must admit, since then have been completely shaven.... except of course the chest.... But, In my opinion, "What you see is what you get!" We are unpretentious, we dont try to be anything we are not, we like what we do.... If someone we like enjoys doing what we do with us, fine.... if they aren't interested, thats also fine. We dont force our views on anyone, ok, we're smokers, as are a sizeable proportion of the swinging community, but we will swing with smokers and non-smokers, we don't judge as we don't expect to be judged!
Tim n Michelle, Craig n Gill are great people, the documentary may have painted them in different lights, but we know them as people, beyond the cameras and the voice-overs and we are more than happy to say that we came away from Peyraille ( Bootcamp Morey- Weale) as "FRIENDS!" and to us, we would rather leave a situation as friends than any other way!
Donna & Rich
I must say you were both a great, and can only echo all of the above.
I'm sure I recognised Donna..... not sure where from. Partners maybe?
We watched the 2nd & 3rd episodes of this & it gave us a lot to think & talk about. Richard & Donna seemed really great - glad you had a good time guys. You seemed to give off the same vibe I'm getting from people here - no pressure, this is about a social life as well as a sex life so thanks guys!
but did the pair get any???
or was it a waste of time??
lol
I thought it was such a great programme. Very new to this whole concept and wasnt something I was ever into but have been considering it lots since then for definite now I wanna go for it although bit at a time!
Donna&Rich were you the couple on the show??
We too watched all of the Real Wife Swaps series, and with special interest , the last of the series where the entire program was filmed at Peyraille.
We holidayed there about 5 years ago, and it was our first "taste" of a swingers/naturist holiday.
We've read the all the messages posted about the last episode in the series, and can perfectly understand - based on what was televised - most of the conclusions that have been made about Peyraille and the host, Peter......
But, having actually been there, we do feel that some things weren't necessarily portrayed in a completely accurate way......
There`was a large book of "house rules" - this is true.
But most of these rules dealt with mundane things like breakages must be paid for, being abusive to other guests (either verbally or physically), not getting completely legless on alcohol. or doing drugs - all the same sort of rules that you would expect to find in any swingers club anywhere in the country...... but also explain the opportunities for "group" trips across to Spain, the local swinger's club etc etc...
There is a rule about no sex around the pool, but there is (was) a reson for this.
Although Peyraille is situated almost "in the middle of nowhere", it is surrounded by farm land. We were there in mid-late September and it was obviously harvest time for whatever crops the local farmers grow.
The pool area is bounded on 3 sides by farmland, and most days whlst relaxing by the pool a tractor would come by - OK about 200 yds or so away (so not exaclty "in your face"), but close enough that anything going on near the pool would be clearly visible.
We may all be liberated, but the "pool" rule was there so no locals are offended by what they might see - Fance is still (I thnk) a predominantly Catholic country !!!
One of the other major "rules" was that you are at Peyraille on "holiday".
It does cater , almost exclusively, for swingers, but (and again like most swingers clubs) it does not gaurantee that you will be swinging with other couples from the time you arrive till the time that you leave.....
We agree whole heartedly with this board's praise for Donna & Richard, but also feel that the rules at Peyraille probably allowed the "virgin" couple (especially the female) to feel relexed and "safe", despite the presence of another couple who were obviously more "seasoned" in the swinging lifestyle.
The kung-fu lesson featured on the programme didn't do much for us.
Othe third day that we were at Peyraille, Peter arranged all of the guests (there were 4 couples) to go to the local firing range .
Up until that afternoon, conversation had been a little bit stilted between all of the couples.
No one really knew anyone else, and everyone was too scared to make the first conversational move - but with male (and female) pride at stake by the end of the afternoon's shooting everyone was getting along as if they'd known each other for ages.....
We will say that Peter is "unique".
He is passionate about his food and his wine - and the quality of both were exceptional at Peyraille - and he's very much into health & fitness.
His attitude towards smokers may have come over a little harsh on the TV, but is this any different to "we are nonsmokers and expect the same" that you see in some swingers ads ? Smoking does wreck you health, you DO smell like an ashtray (to non smokers at least), and it does dull you palatte !!!!!
The week we spent at Peyraille 5 years ago was, and has been to date, the most relaxing and enjoyble holiday we have ever had.
We didn't swing while we were there, but did meet and spend quality tme with some of the most friendly, interesting and open minded people that you could ever hope to meet.

We missed these programs, but would very much liked to have seen them. They sound like a good introduction for the uninitiated. Does anyone have them as mpeg files that we could download and watch please.
hi we are a couple in our 30,s have swung 1 before and enjoyed it ,, but due to health reasons of myself we gave the scene a miss for a few months ,, however after watching the program about swingers we have decided to get back into it again ,,we are goin to go to a drinks night and take it from there ,, i confided in a mate of mine about me and my hubby swinging she said oooo dont know how you can do that ,, i said- its no different than her going out and pulling a fella in a club or pub and going home with him ,,ecept we tend to know the people we are meeting before hand ,,- she had nothing to say to that ,,, so if there are people out there who do disagree with what " people like us" do then take a step back and look into your own life style and honestly say you have never thought about it , even in a fantasy,,,
so well done channel 5 for the program ,,,
any drinks nights or party invites near merseyside would be greatly recieved thanks ,,,
we do have a profile on here its 145072 if anyone interested ,,,
so keep having lots and lots of fun you peeps xxx
hiya, tim and michelle here. just wanted to say that we might not have had the swinging holiday that we thought it would be but we did manage to meet some lovely people and make some good friends. we may all drift off and lead our own lives but we all had a good experience on the holiday. we would also like to point out that we are not the "hardened" swingers that we were portrayed to be, just very into the scene and were hoping for something a little different to happen whilst in france. Donna and Rich and Gill and Craig were top people and we're really glad that they clicked and had some fun, its just a shame that only three couples were invited by channel 5 and not more.
we hope that the programme didnt offend any swingers out there and we look forward to swinging with some of you in the near future!
bye for now Tim and

Donna and Rich, if you read this send us an email, we'd like you to show us round la'chambre one night if you fancy
We received this email this morning and thought we would post it...
Dear Donna and Rich,
Good to speak the other night and glad you were happy with the programmes. It's always great to hear that people like the programmes in which they appear.
Would be very grateful if you could get the word out there that we are looking to make another 'Real Wife Swaps' film and that we are looking for swinging couples to appear in it.
As discussed, we are particularly keen to film with virgin or newly swinging couples who are happy to share the lead up to and then a swinging experience (similar to the film you were in); probably at a party and maybe overseas. I'm interested to get to the heart of why couples have decided to try swinging and how they have negotiated it with their partners - and to see what happens when they try it. Keen to escape swinging stereotypes too, so the less likely the couples are to swing the better!
As you know from experience, the documentary would be upbeat but sensitive, intimate and warm in tone, just like the other three films in the series.
Would be great if you could forward this email and pass the word round. I'd love speak to couples who may be interested to find out more.
Thanks very much - and hope you hen & stag parties go well!
Best wishes,
Jessica
