Chatroom - baiting the troublemakers

Just recently, while in the chatroom, I've been watching an ever increasing number of "regulars" who seem to take great pleasure in goading and baiting those unfortunate souls who break the rules.
Speaking as a chatroom op, it really doesn't help us to do our job. Almost everytime somebody gets kicked while a group of regulars are giving them hell, they only come back, intent to cause even more disruption.
When they are warned and kicked by the op's they often see the error of their ways and come back and apologise. If however they try a war of words, then we have other methods of taking them away from the room.
So - as a polite request to the self appointed room police.
Leave the warnings to the op's please!
Ian
oh and this is not aimed at one specific individual.

It's not only the chatroom where it happens...

Well said Ian.... Our job is hard enough without the regulars baiting and making matters worse...

But it seems it doesn't happen so much in the Cafe these days - seem to have got past that habit a bit, which is good. However, we do have the school holidays coming up ....

Yes, I'm worried about the school holidays - that's when the numpties seem to crop up in here. Perhaps we'll have one of the entertaining ones, though - wonder what happened to Mizz-Amerika!

Have to say I agree with Ian here. It definitely makes our lives more difficult, and can lead to abuse of us as ops. Eg this morning, I received a pvt message that simply said "fuck you" before the person in question left again.

And while we're here and on the subject, I don't need anyone to open the door for me if I'm about to kick someone any more than I need to be told when to kick someone ;)
I have to agree with all of you, ok i know i can be sarcastic at times but i guess thats just my personality tho i would like to think i don't cause trouble, if anyones baiting and goading people kick them too, regular or not u sill have to follow rules, maybe they will think twice next time, i think when u become a room regular its easy to relax and forget urself sometimes so a gentle reminder may help wink
It makes a change that the some chatroom regulars are doing this instead of the the forum regulars as we are always getting blamed for baiting newbies as it has calmed down abit in here with regard to that....but as some as said school holidays soon!
