Chatroom

I know this has been posted before by others but I'm having real problems getting into the chat room. I've read ALL the instructions several times, and tried every combination I can to try and make it work but with no luck.
I consider myself to be fairly intelligent but am just baffled as to WHERE to register my name etc ....... I enter my name click connect which takes me to a 'room' I presume but then it tells me I have to register ........ BUT WHERE?
Hoping for some help here please

I can't get into the chatroom, please help!
First off, you're going to have to be more specific than that :-)
Is it that when you click on the 'Enter the Chatroom' link that the window appears to have no chatroom in it, or is just a grey box that never loads? If so, please read, The chatroom doesn't load.
Is it that the chatroom loads but when you press the 'Connect Now!' button it seems to get stuck trying to connect to the chatserver? If so, please read, The chatroom doesn't connect.
Is it that it loads, you type in your NickName and click on 'Connect Now!' and it connects, but then it tells you that you need to be registered to join the #SwingingHeaven channel? If so, perhaps you should read, How do I register to use the chatroom?

Thanks Jags but Ive followed all that and not seemed to get anywhere , what am I doing wrong?

When you enter your name, click on the drop down below and click on help. Then connect. This will take you to the help room where an OP should be able to help you. If you want to have a go yourself all you do is type the following as you would normally type to chat.
/ns register yourpassword youremailaddy
Once you recieve an email you then type the following
/ns confirm yourcode (please note that the server is case sensitive so make sure that the code is typed in exactly as it is in the email)
You will know when you are registered as it will tell you
