Just went into the chatroom to have my fix of fun and humour.......a bit like the forum but not as good as here.....anyway, as I was sat there watching the screen and having a giggle I have a PM from someone.
I don't like the name and shame stuff for first timers so I gave the talk about not pm'ing people and refered them to the rules. They then start to talk about girls..........young girls. This has now started to churn my stomache and I have ended the conversation. I informed a mod who kindly took me through the logs that should have recorded this but mine was not set up. So unfortunately I could not cut and paste it over to them. The mod has now talked me through how to set it up and if I get anything like this again I can pass it on to the mods.
All I can say is thank you tw@t for spoiling my evening.
I hope everyone has set up their logs so this kind of behaviour can be reported to the mods..............and stamped out

I dont know how you could save log files in the chatroom that is part of this webpage but If you connect to #SwingingHeaven using mIRC like I do its very easy.
Click on "View" then click on "IRC" then click on "Logging"
Next there is a pull down menu called "Automaticaly Log" this is set to "None" as defult so nothing is logged you can change it to log "Channels" "Chats" or "Both"
You can also tick the boxes to time stamp and date the files.
Log files are saved as .TXT files in the directory shown on the "Logging" section
Hope that helps. Sorry I dont know how to log stuff in the chat channel built in to this website.
One last thing if you decided to log channels and you stay in alot of chat channels all day you may want to ocationally delete some of the log files after a few months you will end up with loads of them otherwise.

If anyone uses the chatroom via the website i.e. using Java then it is not possible to log anything. You can only do it in mIRC.
Dave sweetie, it's a fact of life that there will always be sicko's out there who like to inflict their disgusting habits on others but it isn't nice to be on the receiving end....

For those without mIRC........
If you maximise the screen in the chatroom and the private message in the middle as big as the window will stretch to so to fit as much text in as possible.
Then do a "screen dump" ;
Press the "print screen" button on your keyboard,
Open a word document or similar
Right mouse button click and paste.
This saves everything on your screen, so if you are using Java and the conversation turns very very nasty like Dave's did then you have a way of sending it to a mod.
Sympathies to you having to suffer that experience Dave. x Hopefully people reporting this kind of behaviour with evidence will help the mods and get these kind of people off the site.
