chatroom help!!!

hi, havent been on the chatroom for a few days, and nickserv now says my name isnt registered!! have been using it for a while with no probs, now this!?? any ideas anyone!!????

We have moved to a new server so you will have to re-register your nick...
Please see the chatroom help page and you should be ok.

Well I think I've seen the chat room for the last time, as I can't get anywhere. The "help" site says "Java is not the default client anymore so you have to download it from the Java website". What is "it"? Is it the Java runtime environment? Well I've just gone round and round in circles on the java website and got nowhere trying to download anything. And don't tell me to try mIRC instead, it's much too complicated for me (thinks: that'll get the clever-clogs going).
