A few of you have mentioned "green and blacks" .. is this the pure cocoa dark chocolate I've heard about?

It's now owned by Cadbury Schweppes.

They still make Double Deckers but they don't taste the same - didn't they used to have raisins in them?

Ty Mike, but what type of chocolate is it? I've heard that pure cocoa dark choc is actually very good for you.. now that's what we want to hear wink
green and blacks have a milk chocolate which is 70% cocoa...... but it is mainly dark chocolate.. the seller for me is that it is fair trade and organic. (I am sure that means that it has less calories)
it is beautiful....
you can come round my house and have some...... (actually what am I talking about- I NEVER share my chocolate with anyone.)

I had heard that if you had to eat choc this was most likely to be the best.. now, if I were to come to your house and brought you some of this choc would you then share it??
the strong, dark chocolates are indeed *good* for you (in moderation people... in moderation!) particularly for vegans and maybe vegetarians... there is an enzyme in the stuff that a vegan cant get elsewhere, if I remember correctly.

no
I might share yours with you.....
can you feel the generosity.?
oh alright alright, I MIGHT let you have a bit of mine....... ffs... anyone would think that I have a problem with chocolate or sommink... I don't. I really don't.

TY LP, I had heard something along those lines.
Well, I've not actually had any choc for 2 days now, I think I sickened myself that much and took the "moderation" bit to the extreme! I have spots, my pants are feeling snug, was it worth it? hell yes! lol
can I make a confession please....... redface
I'm not really that big a fan of chocolate........ surprisedops:
Now whilst I do like one or two really nice chocolates (such as the ones a certain lady bought us not too long ago) now and again, but I can only normally have a maximum of two and I can go weeks without having any at all.....
when I was younger I did eat a lot of it but then I gave it up for a while and stopped craving it so now I only have it now and again and don't bother with it the rest of the time......my main vice now is cheese......I can eat tonnes of the stuff and normally don't buy it s I just eat it all in one go.....but there is a rather nice piece of stilton in my fridge at the moment which is calling my name and I'm ment to be on a diet so should really have some of the fruit salad i made last night but it's just too tempting.....I think I might have to go out for a while until the craving stops...... confused

Now, as for cheese, well yes that's another vice I have, before eating the chocolate!, cheeseboard then after dinner mints..
