Christmas programme listings

well, last night I bought my Xmas copy of TV Times and I see the usual films are getting their festive airing ( more Xmas films and less 'Jaws' and James Bond etc please ) but there was one show that caught my eye that I will make a point of watching and that's Vicar Of Dibley. Funny as heck but the last one to be filmed sad

Apart from that, I'll be watching some of the old films like White Christmas ( a tradition in our house over the years and it wouldn't be Christmas without it ) African Queen ( worship

to Bogie ) and Monsters Inc.
My recommendation ( as a complete and certified Pratchett anorak ) is Hogfather ( Sky One Xmas Day/Boxing Day 1pm ) It's an adaptation of one of the funniest books I've ever read and I'm sure this will, quite rightly, earn Pratchett millions of new fans
Any recommendations from you lot?

I'll be watching the Xmas specials, Little Britain, Strictly Come Dancing, but I'm with you on mourning the loss of the Vicar of Dibley!! Check the listings for me, is there an alternative to Queeny on Xmas afternoon?
Oh god, thinking about it I hope I'm either drunk so I can't see any of it, or on my back being 'entertained' preferably with some good porn on!! biggrin

I'm with you regarding Hogfather. I'm gonna have to ask my brother to tape it for me as I dont have sky sad

But this may start the ball rolling for more films (and about time too - I reckon they ought to do Men at Arms or Going Postal next :thumbup: )

Well i will be looking out for any Back to the Future films, Bond, Startreks, Home Alone or Uncle Buck as well as any old Sci-fi that may be on such as Flash Gordon lol

Also any comedy film/TV like Morcome and Wise or Laurel and Hardy
Then there are the great british Sitcoms like Only Fools ect. which will forever get a laugh out off me no matter how much i watch :lol:
