Christmas Works Dooz

Obviously my age gives the era away. Anyone look back on great Xmas works dooz when the chance came to maybe get the mistletoe out and try your luck 😉

Yeah.... It's a different world now. Fortunately I don't need to go to the office regularly, but when I am there the atmosphere is utterly shit. Men don't look at women, women don't look at me, it's sterile and mostly silent.

1995-2010 The office, for me, was the place to meet someone, flirt, gossip about who's shagging who AND the key time of year... The Christmas party where your cultivation of a potential relationship over the previous 12 months lead you to the magic, much anticipated moment - the drink, the dance, the kiss... And if lucky what came after that!

Sex was everywhere (apart from actually in the office) you could feel tension in the air.

I'm going to a works do this week where only 1 person still works at the place we all met. There will be some cheeky snogging for old times sake I imagine/hope.

Where I now work there is the after works-do event. Off the premises, away from HR and Management, and unregulated.
