I nearly fell into that one as well before Mark pointed out you need to do the following.
Go to Your Profile.... Scroll down and you'll see a timezone option. Select it to GMT plus one hour and click 'Update'. There's a page in the help section explaining that the site runs on GMT all year round for the benefit of folks from weird places like Peru with different times then we British have.
Of course, I swiftly turned it around to make it look like I was reminding him the clocks went forward.... but he was pissed at the time so he swallowed it. 8)
