We are new to the scene and looking to visit our fist club soon, location isnt important but as its our fist one we want to make sure its as good an experience as we can make it! Obviously we have been reading the reviews and looking at the clubs websites but would like some more personal recommendations too....
what we think we would prefer...
something initially bar based, not sauna based, we dont want to have to take everything off and wear a towel unless we want to!
somewhere that permits alcohol, either sells it or you can take your own, we are not alcoholics but our spare time is rare and we do like to unwind and chill out!
bi friendly clubs - doesnt have to be bi only or a bi night
we dont mind paying a bit extra to go somewhere a bit nicer, when we go out at the weekend we prefer independent cocktail bars to wetherspoons so im guessing we would have similar preferences with swingers clubs!
I do understand you cant control every aspect of it, such is life, but i do think we will have a much better time if we can cover some bascs for the first go, Mr Twsdtd is saying i am over thinking it lol

Hi Twsdtd, welcome to the forums and hope you find exactly what you are looking for.
Cant help with any clubs in your area, a little too far away for us to have visited any, but it may be worth checking out if any of your local clubs do a social night. a club in the North West, No3, does a social night every Thursday from 7 (or 8) till 10pm and it is open to all to have a look around and socialise. After 10, the 'rooms' are opened and anyone who wants to stay to play are then asked to pay a modest amount for the rest of the evening. The club is very high class, very much like a wine bar/normal night club type place has its own bar. The only downside is that at they make you dress down to towels/underwear (that is the only reason we don't use it).
However, it is definitely worth checking the link that HnS put in their post, and see if any of your local clubs do something similar to No3 and then go along and check it out yourselves, because no matter what a review says, a club experience is a very personal thing and we all like very different things.
