Has anyone else seemed to notice in their areas that recently there seem to be a lot of new clubs opening up? I reckon within 50 miles of us at least five have opened that I know of, there's bound to be more too I bet.
On that theme does any one also notice that some profiles state that they always like to meet up for a drink and chat on a no play basis initially. Sounds fair enough until you find out they go clubbing and its away with the first meet no play and in with the wayyy heyyyy get down n dirty with people they've not previously met. Bit of a contradiction aint it.

I see what you are saying but clubs are impersonal wereas private meets aren't - in that you are much more exposed to the other person's mentality (with a stress on the "mental" bit!). Club environment sets the tone, everybody that has bothered to show up knows what they are there for so it's easier to be on the same page. Private meets is anything goes, LOADS of different -sometimes conflicting- agendas, and just by agreeing to meet up you have made the first commitment. So I don't think it's a terrible contradiction for someone to say that they like to play with strangers but rather only do it in a club environment - clear reasoning behind it and I think that's fair enough.

I wish there was some in Leicester, the only one that was near us has closed :-(

5 Clubs ?? - do tell - i can think of 1 but am fascinated as to the others !!

I think you're right, there do seem to be clubs everywhere recently. It might be that there was always a kind of underground culture, such as many fetishists will be familiar with, and it's just dared to raise it's head in these more liberal times.
I think, if I was a single girl, I'd be very wary of trying out a place which hadn't got some kind of checkable history behind it; and reviews often don't mean anything unless you can vouch for the reviewer. There are some unscrupulous dudes out there.
