basically they dont / have not been granted a licence up here for whatever reason..

Probably are. There was one in Carlisle area for a while but it folded. From what I know, the best ones are the Manchester ones :shock: (If some of our regulars are to believed......and who am I to doubt them

I think there's a certain Calvinist leaning north of the Border that makes the Scots, at least on the surface, a little more ashamed of sex than other countries - and I'm saying this as a Scotsman! But yeah, that's what I was saying in another thread I started (Scotland) about the apparent lack of clubs etc in Scotland.
MInd you, I gather things are a lot more active in Edinburgh, but I wonder sometimes if that's got something to do with it being the least Scottish city. But finding this site, I must admit, feels like a real boon. It's nice to know open minded people are alive and well (and apparently even thriving) up here

Yeah its kinda strange up here, the only thing ive seen any kind of regular meetings etc is for the fetish stuff, theres a couple of regular munches for that, but there doesnt seem to be anything if thats not your scene

Keep your eye on lets meet up forum or take a peek at the SH diary for dates of forthcoming meets/munches/sicials/parties etc..
Apparently there are one or two other free websites specifically devoted to scottish swinging, but they seem to be rather on the quiet side. Very limited.
