Communication Via Pms - Thanks

I hadn't really ever been into emailing or pming lots of people on the site as often felt shy to pm redface

ops: In the last few weeks however I have got braver and have posted to one or two people cool

. I now also seem to be getting lots more pms and NO not from guys looking to suck my toes (well only sometimes). I always respond to any pms I get and love receiving them now!!!!!!!!!! One person NEVER responds to my pms but thats okay too rolleyes

. So just to thank all of those who have pmd me lately. It does make my day and I hope to pm you a lot more :twisted: :twisted: 8-) lol

I know what you mean Corrie. I love getting pms but I'm not very good at sending them to start a conversation. On the odd occassion when someone sends me one and I respond I think I must come across as abrupt or something and the conversation usually dies straight after confused

I have now come to the conclusion that I'm a talker not a typer, that's why I love munches and parties so much :thrilled: people are trapped there with me lol

If I'm really honest I think thats the same for posting as well. I have opinions on everything, and I mean everything :shock: but I can never get into type what I would say in person to someone. It's the same with my stories :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mmmmm..... and bloody nice it is too being trapped with Jas at a munch.... wink

I dont get that many PM's but I always try to reply... It is hard to express yourself through typing, you cant wave your hands about and wiggle your eyebrows or flutter your eyelashes via the keyboard....

Jas I think you are one of the sweetest, loved people on here and you are really bubbly. Me in a room with people, I can just go really dry mouthed unless its serious chat hahaha.

I LOVE getting PM's and I send them out on a regular basis.....
But I always wonder whether I'm bothering people when I send out PM's and I wonder if people think "Oh no it's her again".......

I don't get pms very often, but I'm always pleased to receive them, and always reply. And i've never thought "Oh no, it's x again".

I get Pms from newbies a lot... single male newbies, mostly. rolleyes

I do wish they'd spent a little time getting to know folks onlist before charging off like that... but on the whole they're welcome. biggrin

I don't get a lot of PM from regulars except on official business... and when Black Dalek (Mark) PMs me, I shudder as I know I've done something wrong. sad

Mal flashes up apalling and silly ads and posts to give me a giggle now and again. cool

I'm a bit surprised by that as I just assumed that the long time regulars would be PM'ing and being PM'd a lot so ... Phew! ... I've not had that many PMs but it's always nice to get one though I sometimes wonder if my replies are too long and if PM etiquette is to stick to just a couple short and to the point sentences ... but then I'd be thinking, did I come across as being abrupt... !
