I have confidence in some areas: In my parenting and work, but my personal confidence is not at its best at the moment and could do with a bit of bolstering. I used to be a really confident person and hope to be again so am working on that. I do fijnd however someone who is TOO confident a total turn off.
My confidence varies. In my job I know I'm good at what I do therefore my confidence is high. With regard to meets and munches my confidence is fairly low, I come across as confident but 90% of the time I'm winging it ... hoping someone will come over and take the lead. It does depend on how well I know people, but my confidence deserts me fairly frequently Cx
With me it varies. With work i'm very confident and when doing things that i dont normaly do i have enough confidence in myself to do it. But when it comes to people i dont have much. When it comes to sex i'm not very confident (Reasons i wont go into) I havent had any meets on here but if or when i do i will be bricking it. It makes it worse being one of so many blokes here and its related problems.
I recently had a nervous breakdown & with it all of my self confidence went I feel like I am having to learn how to live life all over again but hopefully getting my confidence back slowly but surely
Speaking from a male point of view, I envy those to whom confidence seems to be natural. Personally, I have to work on mine & it always depends upon the female company as to just how much to appear to have LOL. At the ripe old age of 52 I have finally found the confidence to just be myself ( slow learner LMAO). Many thanks to lets_kiss .
In my work I'm really confident, because I know I can do the job. But I've had problems in the past with relationships and so I'm not really confident in a 1 to 1 situation. I have quite a low self esteem and think that I'm not worthy. I come across as confident but am almost always thinking 'oh shit any minute now they gonna realise I'm a complete fraud.'
I'm confident with things, people and situations that I know but when faced with new ventures or people, I think I come across as a little introvert until I get to know a little more. Confidence does come with life experience but doesn't stop you bricking it when faced with new things
the more i do something the more my confidence grows, the first time i do something im a wreck! i prefer to be guided for the first few times. the only thing i never have confidence in is giving a presentation!!!!
I have no confidence in my personal life...in fact i wouldnt know if anyone was flirting with me unless they came up to me and said 'im flirting with you'.. Work is a different matter cos looks and personality doesnt effect how well i do my job.. this is the same for both me and debs xx
I agree with many of the answers posted here, arrogance is SUCH a turn-off. I'm a confident person deep down but like all humans I have my moments of self-doubt and insecurity. One thing I do worry about sometimes is appearing to be a show off or know it all, but it’s only because I neglect to use my social skills, as the absurdity is I’m the least ‘showy’ person I know. I would always hope that I'm confident without ever appearing cocky, I'm the first to take the micky out of myself to make others laugh. *cue the silly dance* I have confidence in my ability to learn and achieve but I totally lack confidence in my ability to stick at things as I become bored easily and dash off on another tangent. Some people are quick to point out other folk’s mistakes and inadequacies but I'm a firm believer in telling people when they do something good or look nice etc as it can work wonders.

You do have confidence Steve, but you need to have more confidence in certain areas Me, I have lots of confidence.... I hope I dont come over as cocky though

Oh all right I'll come clean, I've got sod all confidence if I'm honest. I'm fine at work dealing with customers and such but when i'm not in my usual enviroment I'm bloody awfull. I've had my fair share of knocks in the past but suffice to say I'm getting a lot better :D

i am probabily the most uncomfidant person you will ever meet, tho i come over and being very loud and brash i think its a cover up, inside i'm a very insicure person and find it very hard to meet new people, i'm ok in some aspects like munches etc where people are just there to have a good time and to meet other not me in perticular, but on more private meet where people are coming to meet me i'm very diffarent and usually make myself ill worring about it
