Contemplating my navel

Last Friday I had my navel pierced (something I'd been plucking up the courage to have done but needed a kick from KcKat to finally go through with). It was ok, about 1 second of pain and then Bob's your uncle it was all done.
This morning I plucked up the courage to swop the banana bar for one with a dangly spangly bit from it and I'm well pleased with the result and love the feel of it against my tum. It's wicked when it catches the light.
The pink heart and the pink spangly bits that dangle from it match the colour of me toenails too! Now I can't stop looking at it. redface

Does this give a whole new meaning to contemplating your navel or what? dunno

Pweeeeeeese I wanted mine done for ages but never ever got round to it as i was always trying to lose weight! ALthough would now but just havent got round to it!

it just means you are more of a slapper than I thought lol

I never had the courage to change mine since II had it done 2 years ago.

Eager, word of caution, you are not SUPPOSED to change it two days after! In fact you are supposed to leave it for several months in case your belly goes green and falls out! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Cool look forward to it! Hey I remember years ago metylated spirits was great for cleaning things like pericings is that still the case!

Better be careful eager, you should really leave it for a while to heal properly before changing jewellery.

It seems to be healing very well. Six and a half days after having it done I've changed the bananabar this morning and it's only slightly red in the immediate vicinity of the entry and exit holes (over an area of about half by a quarter of an inch. No discomfort.
KcKat's taken some pics for a new avatar but she's pissed now and in the land of nod so's it's gonna have to wait 'til tomorrow now. I guess. Oh well!! dunno
