Thank you all for coming shame some prevented other genuine people from attending by adding names to list and then not turning up.....This needs to be stamped out as it seems to be getting out of hand.
Seeing women joining the men for the full monty was a first for a cov social....Tom Jones would have been shocked.
Considering the night should have ended at 12 and still had a full house, I would like to thank the venue and bar staffs for letting the night go on till 2am… Even the birdie song didn't trigger the expected mass exodus.
Was great to see so many new faces mixing and joining in with the regulars and now that you know what to expect, hope to see you all at the next one on 5th Dec. the thread is up in the forum…..pass the word around.
If someone left a white scarf with multi coloured tassels, I have it here with my collection of ladies shoes, thong, stockings, etc from previous socials. Come and claim it or when I get a full set I will have to wear the lot at a future fancy dress.
I do allow the list to run over knowing that a few will have genuine reasons for not getting there on the night everyone accepts that.
However 40 profile names out of 103 never showed up that equates to 61 people. Most socials are lucky to get 60 people through the door let alone afford not to have them there. Out of the 40 profile names not showing 21 were single men.
If this was any other social then the organizer would be out of pocket with that many not showing up. Think it’s about time everyone realized that it costs money to put these socials on and that comes out of the organizers pocket and not SH.
I can cover the cost of my socials as DJ Dell has a loyal and ever growing fan club and he is cheap (no comments), hence £60 was put towards the slave auction and the 5th Dec. social will be a £1 entrance to say thank you to everyone for the support.
This is an adult site and some people need to think and behave like adults and realize that a social is NOT as a swinger’s party…. The clue is in the name. If you want a shag or see a sex show got to a club or a private party, don’t put your name down for a social
I never was going, thought about it but couldn't guarantee my presence (hate to let people down) as it happens I could have made it - cest le vie.
However in the past I have run many events,(not SH) have you considered a booking fee of the price of 1 drink in exchange for 1 drink on the night. Don't turn up don't get your drink!
It is a customs & revenue minefield out there, but if it can be seen all revenue covered cost then remainder was given to charity you should be ok.
Will try to make Dec 5th should be less busy & any excuse to dress up posh!!!
