Does anyone have a cure for a bump on the head?
I fell down the stairs the other day and have seriously injured my back and I now have a big "scab like" thing on my forehead too!
It's not very attractive at all - are there any suggestions out there I can use to make it heal quicker?
My back is getting better but just need some help on the bump!

biggrin
Same as for any bruise, cold compress and witch hazel (spelling?)

ARNICA - is the wonder drug for getting rid of bruises and bumbs works brilliantly.
Lavender Oil and Aloe Vera will help if applies topically to grazing if you are worried about scarring then make sure you have a diet rich in zinc and vitamen c and e with all help with speedy recovery of damaged tissue
A hat?

Will have to be a very tall hat if it's a big bump lol
Get someone to jump on ur foot. You will then forget all about the pain in ur head.
Sorry to hear about your bump
Use witch hazel that will heal it quickly.....hope its better soon
Have to agree with CQ ... Arnica ..... excellent for bumps and bruises (works great for a shock too).
I've just looked through a very old book I have and the characters in there swear by vinegar and brown paper.............
you cant use arnica where the skin is broken , it will hurt like hell but it is brilliant for bringing out bruises
How bout a nice hot bath and chocolate?? Not forgetting a nice glass of pink champagne!!
well, i'm talking about your MENTAL well being here, lol!!!

Sorry to hear about your accident Onlyme1981.
The Queen swears by Arnica and takes it everywhere with her on her royal visits (and I don't just mean the Celtic Queen).
I wish you well and a speedy recovery. Will be thinking of you....

Thank you for the advice and concern (some of you  ) - looks like I'm not going to need it now though as the scab has now come off and I'm left with a scar!
I know that doesn't sound very nice at all but I couldn't think of anything that would make it sound better.
I'm hoping the scar will fade in time - I'm a bit self conscious about it though! confused
Anyone got a cure for scar's :?: lol
Thanks again.
biggrin

Especially thanks to LC passionkiss
