ive had a bad headache and cold type symtoms before.
i think the severity of the symptoms depends on how much crap you are flushing out your system. usually it recommends detoxing on either a break from work or at least a very gentle week.
if your symptoms are that bad, stop the detox, try gradually cutting out some bad stuff for the next 2 weeks or so, drinking plenty water, then try it again.
I think it is 8 pints of water should be drunk each day and it does help your body in so many ways even though you may pop to the toilet more than usual lol
where did you get the detox kit from? i know Boots used to do them in a variety of 3, 5 and i think 7 day kits? perhaps one of the longer ones would be less agressive?
I am dubious about the value of detox kits and the concept of 'toxins' coursing round your body. I do accept that some people have very unhealthy diets and should have them reformed. You shouldn't treat your body like a cess pit which needs to be emptied of gunk which is what some of these plans encourage.
Really the best you can do is eat sensibly and EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE, much better than starving yourself for 3 days, making your body weak and suceptable to illness.
I once made the mistake of going on a Dettox diet :uhoh: They say 'mind your Ps and Qs' but sometimes it's the Ts that need attention....
