I was feeling rather groggy (actually groggy and horny) when I arrived home today after a long drive back from where ever it was I stayed last night - so I went for a lay down on the bed to have a bit of a lady-wank.
I think it was sometime around 5pm. Any-hootie, I nodded off and woke-up again at 8. The thing was - it took me 30 minutes to establish whether it was 8am or 8pm. In my even more groggy state it all seemed confusing and my body clock was convinced it was morning - probably because I very, very, very rarely nap in the day unless I am ill.
Eventually, I switched on the telly to see what was on and worked it out from there (yes I know it says on my phone whether it is am/pm - didn't you listen - I was groggy).
For a short time I really was convinced it was morning and the realisation that it wasn't was quite disorientating.
Has anyone had a similar experience but gone on to do something thinking it was day instead of evening or vice versa?
When working night shift i hated going to bed on Fridays until one Friday when i stayed up all day and wend to bed at 11pm i didnt wake untill 5 pm on Saturday and got up thinking i had all day to do what i wanted for the suden relisation more than half the day was gone and it buggered the rest of my weekend up aswell with the constant napping.
Some years ago... I had worked for four straight days and nights. No sleep at all.
I gothome late Friday evening , went to bed and woke up , still dark. Could not work out where I was , but thought it must be Saturday morning... Wrong , twas Sunday morning!!!!

When I was truck driving, well I am again but I mean on distance away from home all week I used to wake up in the mornings and because it was a differant place every time it used to take a good 10 minutes or untill I drew back the curtains to work out where I actually was in the country or even at times what country I actually was in
Just drove back from Monte Carlo and as soon as landed back on a British motorway all recollections of the wonderful French roads were forgotten.
God we are so uncivilised over here.
Give me a BMW 316 and I will take over the world - at least everyone else in front of me...

I did shift work once . 8pm to 8am. Hardest thing was going to bed , getting up and its still the same day ! having "breakfast" watching the news and getting paranoid as having a vague idea that...I have heard that news item before? omg I can predict the future ! (having heard the breaking story on early morning tv before "going to bed" )
also living in a twilight world where I was not sure if sun was rising or setting ! and not knowing for sure what "day" it actually was !
Oh one other thing, is it just me or... when those semi mechanical/digital clocks at railway stations, read 00:00 it freaks me out !
