I just don't know what to think. After all I only know what the Government tells me.
It has been alleged that more Iraq civillians have died since the invasion than ever did under Saddams rule. I wonder if Bush and Blair will stand trial? confused

nah... Bush and Blair will escape prosecution because they have a good team of lawyers and diplomats working for them.... and i think that red-tape will prevent it.
i recall that just before the invasion of iraq there was a group from the UK that had been looking at the situation carefully. It seems that Blair and the Government got the Attourney general or somebody to draft a document advising as to whether of not the invasion was legal..... and guess what........... he advised it was legal........
hey presto..... a get out of jail free card.................
Oh please keep me out of here :gagged:

Generally true but.....
Are there going to be any winners in this particular case dunno
yes . course there will be winners.......
The bit I find strange is that Tony Blair says the death penalty is wrong, but will not say the death penalty for Saddam is wrong.
But if it is OK for Saddam to get the death penalty then why not Ian Huntley? Is it a total score thing?
Personally I don't agree with the death penalty, before any one asks.

not sure if I'm right but I'm sure I heard on the radio earlier that Blair didn't agree with the death penalty for Hussain dunno
please correct me if I am wrong I've not been following this that closely......
It's not the British/Americans killing Iraqi's, it's Iraqi's.
THis may not be politically correct, but the best man for iraq was Sadam, he knew how to deal with them.

Yep she's right, I've been working all night so the radio has been on for at least 13 hours and the news reports on BBC 1, 2, 4 and a few a cheesy local stations have all stated/claimed that old cheesy grin (blair) has said Saddam should not get the death penalty.
If you asked Raz, the Kurdish guy I work with, if Saddam should die.................I think most of you could guess what his answer would be.

At least the killing was in one country, now it could be on our own streets. Bush & Blair started the war, others will die ending it.
That is not in support of Saddam, just lack of support for the war.
