i have deleted photos from the recycle bin, is there anyway of getting them back.
Or as i fear they have gone for good
Open recyle bin, look for the files, right click on them and use 'restore' - that's if you haven't emptied the bin. If you've emptied the bin you've also reached the end of my knowledge!!
:P lol
If you've emptied the bin do a picture search (start-search -pictures, music or video), it may come up, but I suspect you've lost them for good once the bin is emptied confused
A friend of mine got help from a computer-whizzkid to retrieve from her hard disk some material which she had lost after her computer was hacked, so some people know how to do it.

There is some good news and bed news....
there is available commercial software that will allow the recovery of your pictures they are still on the hard drive but could be over written at any time..... lol
but the bad news is it depends on how long ago this happen
basically when you empty your recycle Bin you are giving windows permission to over write that area...
as long as the information has not been over written it still there and you have not defragmented the hard drive and the hard drive is of sufficient size as to avoid frequent overwriting ''you may'' be able to recover your pictures.
if this event as happened recently ... do not use the machine ..
there is available on the Net free software that will allow you to permanenty remove or restore deleted file....
try the link provided...
this this link is removed then PM for more details..... biggrin
ive defraged it a couple of times
would system restore to before you deleted the pics not work?
Once defragment has taken place this involves the reshuffling of files and writing over existing areas chances are your pictures have gone but try the software I have recommended it is free from PC World if you get them back good luck i suspect you will not....
You could get a camera and take the pics again !
Soz thats as technical as I get ! lol

If the lost files are *really* important, you can try sending your computer to a commercial service that specializes in recovering lost data.
It will not be cheap, but even after defragging the disk, there is a pretty decent chance that they can recover something.

If I were you I'd just shoot them again, far quicker and easier than trying to recover them after you've emptied the recycle bin and defragged the disk.
My advice to anyone that deletes anything important (apart from the snide comment about keeping backups that I'm required to make as a sysadmin) is not to do anything to the hard disk. Don't defrag, don't install any software onto the disk, and preferably don't reboot it (though this doesn't often make things drastically worse). As I'm a UNIX/Windows geek in that order, I'd probably boot with a Linux LiveCD* of some flavour and use that to attempt data recovery, as most of them won't touch any hard disks in the machine unless you ask them to.
*A LiveCD is an operating system that runs directly from a CD or DVD without being installed onto the hard disk. It's a bit like a DOS boot disk, but you can put whatever software you'd like on there as there's tons of room.
Bushwackers if you click on this link it'll take you to the download site for a free data recovery program.

Worth a try if nothing else.
