I'm not casting a vote either - the poll is too confusing. But yes, generally speaking, "slut" is regarded as a derogatory word.
its all about the context of it, dek can say it at different times of the day but il only take offence at a certain time or when it's being used in not the nicest way and if anyone else said it to me (that didnt know me and me them) i would take offence to,
and there isnt a choice for me to vote so i havent
I agree WW.
A man whose thoughts about women in silk chiffon or any other fabric come to that are derogatory is hardly likely to get near enough to me ever to see my lingerie!
this ones gonna cause you some problems fella!!!
maybe me too..........
and i do think a few women are in denial....not all though.
personally, in the context of a lingerie shop selling items of lingerie, with words written on...i think putting "slut" on a pair of panties is quite a cool idea. whats the difference to a woman dressing up in a "slutty" way??? none, i say....
i think the problem would lie with making/expecting a women to wear them if she wasnt too impressed.
now.......... with regards to this denial bit.... maybe you could have phrased it a little better... but i have to agree wih you in a way..... men MUST , WILL, and DO think of women in this way when it comes down to sex..... the sluttier and ruder the better in alot of cases.
the fact that some find this impossible to accept futher highlights the "denial"....
so , what i would say before you all flame this bloke is............... hes a bloke and therefore is in a better position to answer questions on what blokes actually think...
Ok so would I enjoy my hubby calling me a slut? The answer is yes. Used in the right context, with the right person (hubby in my case) and in the right roleplay situation then its a huge turn on. Especially when said in the very sexy posh voice that he has
Would I be offended if he called me a slut in any other situation? The answer is yes. If used in a derogatory way as a way of venting anger or annoyance towards me then of course I would be offended.
He doesnt by the way and has never used it out of place as he has a huge amount of respect for me and, indeed, for all women.
Anyone else using the word towards me, either in a sexual or non sexual way would be hung drawn and quartered! That is just not acceptable in my view.
