ive been to Rios about a dozen or more times around five to ten years ago, i wouldnt describe it has a swingers club, would you?
i would describe Rios as a health spa, now maybe things have changed since i was last there but recently after chatting with someone on msn he thought it was just a swingers club, he hasnt been before and i was recomending the place for a relaxing night when staying in London.
i used to realy enjoy going there and to be honest i never saw a single sexual act take place there, very friendly staff and well run
can anyone clarify what its like now....

I have never been tho know many people who have and they have all said you can have sex there if you wish
when i used to go it was naturist night just about every night, i think they did a couples thing on sats, folks wore towels but stripped out of them to go in the pools or sauna , still , apart from girls being followed from place to place i never saw a thing go on so has it changed does anyone else recall it being the way i knew it?

I have been there three times over the last few months on both a Monday naturist night and twice on a Saturday and stayed for at least four hours each time and still haven't had my cock touched in there. I have seen some very mild touching taking place in the jacuzzi's but that is all. There is of course the upstairs that couples go upto to have sex but downstairs is as described above by Helen and myself.

Basically, it's a kind of combination naturist/swinging place, but not fully one. It's become more of a swinging place over the years I think. A fair bit of sexual stuff happens, especially on Couples Night (in fact that really felt like a Swingers club that night), and Mon/Wed/Friday nights. Other nights and daytimes, it's more a naturist place.
I've been there quite a few times, and had various sexual experiences, as well as lots of times where I just chilled in the jacuzzi and spoke to people..so really it depends.
I was in London a couple of weeks ago and I would have LOVED to have gone to Rio's.
Being a naturist anyway - I'd have loved it for that reason alone. But I would have adored to have met a few friends from SH there too!

I too have heard that Rio's is primarily a naturist club - but they turn a blind eye to more friendlier activities!
Rios is a Naturist Spa and along with Alexandra, we enjoy it for that reason alone too. They do have strictly naturist evenings where you have to go nude, as you are usually allowed to wear a costume on other occasions.
I have seen some playing going on in the jacuzzi, a couple (not from SH) were shagging at one of the SH meets, dont know where you lot went, but i stayed to watch!! :twisted:
They have 'rest rooms's upstairs where apparently only couples are allowed but have seen single guys going up.
We enjoy it there, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

More recently I have gone during the day to Rio's. Its less crowded, so one can relax more. Because of the stories you hear it has an identitiy, which sometimes it doesn't need or deserve. The staff are great and just take everything in their stride. What goes on in the private rooms, usually stays there. For a cleaner and classier venue I would recommend any 5 star hotel with spa facilities. You get a lot more for your dosh. There are some decent small spas opening up and one I go to has genuine masseurs, colonics etc. Proper stuff.

I get the feeling they are trying to tread a fine line between annoying the naturists by being a swinging venue and annoying swingers by assuming everyone is a holier than thou naturist.
It's perfectly possible to go there and be unaware of the 'upstairs rooms for couples to relax' and the purpose to whihc they are usually put.
