Have a few beers in the White Hart.....it's a great pub.
I heard Tantons Hotel (at the end of the bridge next door to the library) had gone a bit upmarket, but it was a fantastic pint in there when I used to run the bar.
And the Eastleigh (in East-the-water) has a fantastic beer garden too.
