Did anyone notice when they first started posting in the forum that its difficult to get responses from people when you actually make a post? i find that mine are usually overlooked, is this because im new or can i expect this to just carry on?

Yeah I feel like that too a lot of times but I think it says more about me than them. I think I keep looking for other peoples feedback as I'm insecure or something. I'm concerned how people view me - am I'm being annoying, etc.
OTOH, there are many times when I see a post I like (and may even reference me) but I don't like to respond as I don't want to hi-jack the thread too much.
:confused: Oh - I've confused myself now. I think the bottom line is I'm still learning how online forums work and how people interact on them.

Are you refering to the topic i posted about fantasies? (i believe you made a snide comment in that topic) If you are then surely you realise that this afterall a swinging site and fantasy is a big part of it! If you dont like my posts then by all means tell me you dont like them, but do it in a way thats constructive and not just stupid. I'm not here to cause any offence so i hope i'm not.

No, I wasn't referring to any particular thread actually. The fantasy thread just comes across as you trying for wank-fodder though. That wasn't snide, it was an honest and open comment. It most definitely wasn't stupid. I tried for constructive via PM, by the way.

Seriously tho, there are a lot of people on here that are used to each other, each others posting style, and tend to bounce off each other.
Tis one of my gripes tho that when a good, on topic thread gets hijacked with 'You're great' 'no youre greater' 'no you are smackbottom

' posts. So when someone posts a well thought out on topic post in the middle of all the hijacks - and they get totally overlooked/ignored with continued half line hijacks, bluddy rude I say.......... more so when it's the same lines, the same smilies as used in hundreds of threads before, so not really essential to a thread, or offensive if it's halted - but it never seems to be halted these days.
So I'm afraid it's something you will get used to - you're not as overlooked as you think wink

Some people don't respond to you, but it doesn't mean they've ignored you. It can just mean they've taken your post on board, but have nothing more to add biggrin

Yeah I feel like that too a lot of times but I think it says more about me than them. I think I keep looking for other peoples feedback as I'm insecure or something. I'm concerned how people view me - am I'm being annoying, etc.
