yes i can be antagonistic
yes i can be rude
yes i can be ignorant and sometimes even stupid but fuck me i have a grip with reallity and who i really am and least im honest about it instead of making everyone else the villan qwho qdoesn`t agree with the way you think

Slowly coming to the conclusion that the best way to start a topic or post a thread in it, is to make sure it is already locked.....
I`m not part "of the clique" yet I post what I like when I like.
Its simply the fact that some people take great umbridge if you don`t agree with them or their point of view, and then there are others who haven`t been around long enough to suss out peoples characters and take even greater umbridge if they go off on a tangent or answer in their own "unique" way.
No one stops anyone from answering or joining in on threads.
I've been a member of the forum for 7 years (bloody hell!) now, haven't been active for a couple due to real life rearing its boring head and had a little giggle to myself when I started reading this thread - there isn't much that changes.
I've felt left out of the "clique", been accused of being in the "clique" and had a go at others trying to cause ripples by making comments.
The forum acts just like real life, from kids in the playground to people at work. You can never get on with everyone, not everyone is the same, and you can be better friends with some than others. Nothing is different here than in real life, laughter, sarcasm, disagreements and discussion. It's just more harsh written than spoken.
Ignore what you don't agree with, post when you do, if you are unsure about something - try asking the person in a private message.

It would be really interesting to get all of the so called bullies and cliques referred to on here in a room together in 'real life' and see how dynamics played out... at least half of what we imagine to be the case never is.
Meeting someone after months or years you've emailed with at work or spoken on the phone with is a classic example of this. Our perceptions can be SO wrong.
Can we not be grown ups, move on and stop going over the same old bullshit?
This isnt a forum for world peace and harmony ffs
actually i think these state of the nation threads are always in the forum, so must be an essential part of it.
I mean, we're not to imagine for one minute that you might have had certain people in mind when you posted, reading between the lines, are we, wot with you being a big old scaredy cat on the receiving end wot daren't put their thoughts into words? 
Obviously these people have a closer bond. I think in years gone by it was the off line cliques on this forum that were stronger but with the demise in general forum use they are now nowhere near as prevalent as they once were.
